History and operations

Fireside Magazine was founded in 2012 after a successful Kickstarter campaign.^[1]^[2] The magazine, whose founder and editor-in-chief was newspaper editor Brian White, began its print run the following year with three issues.^[3]

Content

Fireside publishes speculative fiction (fantasy and science fiction).^[1] The website publishes novellas, novels, and anthologies of shorter works in physical and ebook form.^[1]
