1999-2004[edit]
In the middle of February 1999 began test broadcasting. 1 April 1999 and was launched on the Fox Kids channel was three audio tracks English, Turkish and Russian for Russia and CIS countries. There was also an ecological action "Jetix Saves the Planet" was organized in Russia and Romania in the summer of 2005 by the TV-channel Jetix in conjunction with the National Geographic channel and Egmont Publishing House and the Merry Pictures magazine.
On January 1, 2006, the "Jetix Max" block appeared. In the Jetix Max program block, you could see dynamic programs designed for a more adult audience of the Jetix channel, offering adventures, comedies, and classic Marvel. The program block Jetix Max represented the most popular cartoons: A.T.O.M, Shaman King and Unbeaten Team of Super-Monkeys! And also the best Marvel programs: Spiderman, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Fantastic Four and X-Men. Appeared a new block "Jetix Ninja", on it went cartoons about the ninja, the block lasted no more than a year.

In early 2009, the news appeared that Jetix CEE would stop broadcasting. [14].
Jetix Central and Eastern Europe began to gradually withdraw from the satellite Hot Bird.
On September 19, 2009, according to the decision of Disney Company, the European version of Jetix stopped broadcasting, in Russia, after the closure of the European version, the Russian version was launched, before launching the Russian version more than 8 hours showed one bumper, some CIS countries, for example Belarus after the closure of the European version broadcast 2 days of Disney Channel in English, then returned Jetix. In September 2007, it was planned to launch the Disney Channel. Disney CIS asked Telco Media to grant Russia the rights to Disney Channel. [13]
After the closure of the European version of Jetix in 2009, the Russian unit wanted to launch Disney Channel on the territory of the CIS.
