Ventus
[edit]Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut, Ventus is an American company that provides secure private line wireless services, and manufactures cellular wireless hardware.[1][2]
Ventus Wireless
[edit]Ventus Wireless provides cellular wireless networking services including PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry) compliant data transport, integration services, data encryption, RF engineering, and integrated network administration and monitoring systems. Ventus' IT services are delivered via products developed by the company's network hardware technologies division.[3]
Ventus Technologies
[edit]Ventus Technologies designs and manufactures cellular routers and other wireless hardware for machine-to-machine and enterprise wireless applications. Ventus' hardware includes modular, multi-interface embedded wireless 4G LTE/3G routers and multi-band cellular antennas.[4]
Media Awards
[edit]In 2003, Ventus received a Rising Star award in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program,[5] which recognizes the fastest-growing young companies in Connecticut.[6] Additionally, Ventus was selected in the national category, receiving a second Rising Star award, this time in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500.[5] Ventus also ranked 15th in a special category which ranks the top 25 national winners.[5]

In addition, Ventus is certified as meeting the Payment Card Industry's (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS).
