Prior to college Micheal (OMIT 1ST NAME) Bustamante, was a four year captain at Chelsea High School in Massachusetts. (WHEN DID HE ARRIVE IN US?) As a Senior he earned the Boston Globe All- Scholastic award High school (?) [1]

College

Micheal Bustamante played college soccer in the United States at Boston University from 2008 to 2012. Bustamante had a freshman season full of (TOO VAGUE) recognitions, he was Named America East Midfielder and Rookie of the Year.[2] He made the All-American East First team selection and was place on the NSCAA All-Northeast region squad. As a sophomore Bustamante was named to America East All-Conference First Team.[3] As a Junior he, ones (SP) again, was named to America East All-Conference First Team and received his third All-Region accolade.[4] Unfortunately for Boston University (,) Bustamante suffered an injury (WHAT KIND?) that put him in the sideline for the entire 2011 season.[5] In 2012 Bustamante was back on the field for the Terriers to play his last college season. He became the first Boston University varsity soccer player to earn a fourth America East All-Conference First Team award and also became the fourth in school history to receive a fourth All-Northeast Region award.[6]

After College

After Bustamante's last season with Boston University, he was invited to the 2013 MLS Combine. After performing in the combine (?), Bustamante was chosen by the New York Red Bulls at the 2013 MLS Supplementary Draft.[7]

Micheal Bustamante was signed by the New York Red Bull, (BULLS, NO COMMA) on Feburary 22, 2013 during the team’s preseason trip in Tucson, AZ.He scored one goal with the Red Bulls during the team’s participation in the FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup, adding a tally in the first match against Real Salt Lake to finish in a 2-2 draw.[8]
