The Saturday Club was a literary dining and discussion society in 19th century Boston.(?) Its members included Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr., Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Richard Henry Dana Jr., James Russell Lowell, and Charles Eliot Norton.[1]
