Venanzio Ciampa

‘’’Venanzio Ciampa’’’ (Long Branch, New Jersey, 10 August 1962) is a notable American public relations expert named the "New York Marketing Maestro" by the New York Post.[1]

Biography

Career

1995 -- Ciampa started working as independent consultant for Omega [2], organizing and supervising different events for the company. 1997 -- Ciampa became international marketing director for Omega, organizing events for NASA and James Bond in which, in the movie “Tomorrow Never Dies,” the Seamaster watch model was featured[3].

1999 -- Ciampa became international marketing consultant for LVMH [4], a multinational group specialized in luxury goods.

2001 -- Ciampa became marketing director of Swatch Group, and headed the company's communication department[5][6] for the United States. At Swatch, he organized a charity auction at Sotheby’s for the company's 19th anniversary, which was dubbed “Wristory.” The twenty-five watches auctioned collected $800,000 in funds, and were donated at the Blane Trump charity group “God’s Love We Deliver.” [7]

2004 -- Venanzio launched The Promotion Factory[8], a marketing and communications agency based in New York, specializing in luxury goods, fashion, accessories, entertainment and technology. In 2011, Ciampa organized a fashion runway show for the watch brand Hublot at Cipriani Wall Street, for the Manchester United [9][10] soccer team.

Support and Donation

The Promotion Factory sponsors and supports donations to Street Soccer USA [11][12][13], sitting on the board of advisors, as well as the Julien Collot Foundation [14][15].

Showdown in Chinatown

In 2009, in collaboration with the “Steve Nash Foundation,” Ciampa organized a celebrity soccer tournament known as Showdown in Chinatown [16][17] in which notable athletes and celebrities play a charity soccer game at Sara Delano Roosevelt Park.
