Concerning Wikipedia, you could say I'm a:

• Eventualist, an
• Inclusionist, an
• Incrementalist and a
• Techno-progressive: my guess is that Wikipedia will eventually be able to write itself, and sooner than you might think.

It has been claimed that this is Wikipedia's goal.

But under the current policies of what Wikipedia is and is not, it does not strive to contain all knowledge. For linguistic information, see a dictionary. If you wish to learn how to cook, or how to do just about anything, keep in mind that Wikipedia shuns recipes and how to instructions. Other types of knowledge that Wikipedia does not do well disseminating include experience and tacit knowledge.

Wikipedia's scope, including the level of detail it delves down into, is also limited by its notability policy.

A more accurate slogan describing Wikipedia and its objective would be "A summary of the world's knowledge".

Technology is undergoing accelerating change. We're definitely seeing it here too.

Wikipedia is acquiring more and more computerized features over time, and more and more edits are being done by bot. Eventually, automated edits will far exceed human edits.

Subfields of artificial intelligence directly relevant to Wikipedia are natural language processing and machine learning. Through these, computer programs will take on the responsibility of tasks that historically could only be done by people. Such as composing and updating articles, fact checking and citing references, building the topic navigation systems, and so on. Eventually, computers will be able to write better articles than human authors, millions of times faster.
