Note that the Bible does not expressly say that Naamah was the wife of Noah, nor does it say Noah's three sons married daughters of Naamah's three brothers, but there is a long standing Jewish tradition that Naamah was Noah's wife.^{[TN 1]} Editor's note: The above alignment of wives with Noah and his three sons should be considered tentative until or if better information is available for inclusion in this article.^{[TN 2]}
