These are articles I've contributed to in a major way. Nothing to be bragging about, but I saw another user do this and thought it would be nice to as well. Please note that a major contribution doesn't have a set size of words/edits/whatever, but (at least, on this page), is measured in how important it is to the article. However, I try to list only those articles, the size of which I've increased by at least 150%, or heavily copy-edited. Obviously, a major contribution is not every non-minor edit.

This page was made for the following purposes:

  • For my own record
  • For anyone who is interested in my contributions

Major contributions

[edit]

This is mainly expansions of stubs or constant maintenance of an article. I personally gauge a major contribution by how much time it has taken me to contribute to the article. Therefore, even if it's a (bunch of) small edits which required a lot of time/effort, I will consider it a major contribution. Note: The list makes no claim about the quality of an article, and some are of poor quality even after the major contribution. I hope to come back to each and every one and improve it further, but there's so much to do and so little time to do it.

 * – I actually created these articles, but much of the content was cut from (an)other article(s).  ** – Articles which were copied entirely or mostly from other articles to which I made major contributions.

Added tabular data

[edit]

Tabular data usually comes in the form of long lists, which are simple but very time-consuming to add. This includes statistics for ice hockey players, lists of bus lines, lists of intersections for roads, etc.

FAs, FLs and GAs

[edit]

I have significantly contributed to the following FAs, FLs and GAs (per above lists):

Other that the above creations/major contributions of FAs, FLs and GAs, I have contributed in various ways to other such articles:

I have created or helped create/draft the following policies, guidelines, essays, etc. which are generally followed on Wikipedia:

Other projects

[edit]

While I value quality over quantity, most of my edits are minor and probably not very significant. However, a certain type of edit, if done a lot, constitutes a major contribution. Examples of such edits in my case:

  • Updating information on Israeli towns and cities, such as population, spelling of cities (there were a ton of redirects because no one could agree on transliteration), and more.
  • Fixing typos and spelling mistakes - especially watching the word similiar (there are about a dozen new instances daily!)
  • Adding nikud to articles with Hebrew text (localities in Israel complete)
  • Adding infoboxes to articles on Israeli localities
  • Making lists of articles that need to be written, see User:Ynhockey#Navigation
