Speedy deletion nomination of Lund (Hindi Word)

[edit]

Hello Ashutosh4422,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Lund (Hindi Word) for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 16:47, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of 8FACT

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 8FACT requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Wikipedia is NOT a gossip magazine

[edit]

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, we deal with fact not rumors. And particularly in regards to content about living people. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 03:06, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is NOT a business directory either

[edit]

Wikipedia isn't a business directory either please don't just add people to articles, as you did at Sagar, Madhya Pradesh with this edit. Content of this nature could be regarded as promotional. PhilKnight (talk) 18:42, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Nitesh Tiwari has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Speedy deletion nomination of The Ghost Song

[edit]

I have declined your speedy deletion nomination of The Ghost Song. None of the three criteria you added apply to this article.

WP:A7 is limited to articles that fall in very specific subject areas, real person, individual animal(s), organization, web content or organized event. as this is a song it is not in any of those subject areas. THe closest criterion would be WP:A9, but that does not apply as part of that criterion is that the band does not have an article and The Doors has an article.
WP:A1 only applies to articles lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. Everyone should be able to understand that this is an article about a song by The Doors released in 1978.
WP:A3 only applies to articles consisting only of external links, category tags and "See also" sections, a rephrasing of the title, attempts to correspond with the person or group named by its title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, chat-like comments, template tags, and/or images. The article consists of prose.

Please familarize yourself with the speedy deletion criteria before tagging articles. GB fan 18:50, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Lewis Hulbert. Your recent edit to the page Ariana Grande appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. While you seem to understand the basics of referencing, you added a blatantly false quote to your controversies section on the Ariana Grande article. Do not deliberately introduce factual errors into articles. Lewis Hulbert (talk) 21:20, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Ariana Grande. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If the link were to Grande's official Facebook page, then WP:ELMINOFFICIAL would say that we should only link to the subject's official website, and not their social media presences, especially when there are links to those sites from the official website. However, the Facebook profile you added is not Grande's verified Facebook profile, so it should not be linked per WP:ELNO #10.C.Fred (talk) 19:34, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Wheel Ghar Ghar Mein with this edit, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. —Frosty 07:12, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Tanya (MK), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.weirdexistence.com/mortal-kombat-girls-art/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Behadd, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Maya Ali. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Richa Tiwari

[edit]

Re this new biography, Richa Tiwari you created.

Biographies require reliable sources. Wordpress and Facebook sites, currently the only two sources on the page are not reliable sources. --220 of Borg 07:40, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Richa Tiwari, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
