Cite ncovtrack.com on the UK maps.

[edit]

Hi, I recently saw that you have removed the external links from both of the UK maps. Can you please cite ncovtrack.com on both maps and put the link in the reference list?

Georgek98 (talk) 19:01, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Georgek98: Hi, Wikipedia policy is to put links to external sources in the External Links section, which I did in that edit. Media on Wikipedia is not cited in the caption as users can click through to Commons to find more information. Hope this is okay, Carlinmack (talk) 23:24, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Georgek98: It appears that you have readded your citations. Due to the Wikipedia:Edit_warring#The_three-revert_rule I cannot remove these. I ask that you review Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Captions and reconsider. Carlinmack (talk) 09:56, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Carlinmack: Hi, thanks for adding the reference. For some reason I couldn't edit the references link. Georgek98 (talk) 14:23, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This is their website and they have already been told not to add it anywhere both on their talk page (see COI notice) and mine. S0091 (talk) 17:43, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
