Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~), be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Truth Social

[edit]

Thanks for testing Wikipedia's page move feature. However, moving Truth Social to "Truth? Social" was silly, even if you did move it back. Please only use the page move feature for legitimate purposes in future. Still, I'm glad to have you editing here, and taking Wikipedia:Be bold at its face value. Happy editing! — The Anome (talk) 08:28, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I bet you feel proud of yourself calling me out. Cg120 (talk) 01:46, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We have a guideline called Assume good faith. I appreciate most of your contributions. I just disagree with some, but in no way do I doubt that you're doing what you're doing believing that it improves the encyclopedia. If you cannot reciprocate this and assume other editors too, even when they disagree with you, are voicing their disagreement in the belief that the outcome of the debate will result in a better encyclopedia (cf. WP:BRD), you will have no place in this project. Nardog (talk) 10:57, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
All you are doing is what your wikipedia "bosses" are telling you to do. Why can't you just take a joke? I mean, it was moved back for pete sake. Take some humor in the fact that the "?" is a joke because Donald Trump is known for not telling the "truth". Why is it even your problem? It was only for a second so I could capture the irony that is DUELY PRESENT, and now just because you feel the need to get out every reprimand possible you are saying this. I guarantee that deep down you found it funny too. Don't listen to anyone above you. Live in the moment. Cg120 (talk) 12:59, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The above was in response not just to the move but also to this and this, which I highly doubt were in jest (and even if they were, that would be no excuse). Just assume good faith and never make personal attacks. It's that simple. Your edits may get reverted, but that doesn't mean anyone is upset and neither should you. Nardog (talk) 15:01, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You only seemed to be referring to "Truth?". Too bold Cg120 (talk) 16:41, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Colic

[edit]

Sorry I reverted your pronunciation of colic. As you correctly guessed, I didn't know that vowel was sometimes used. I added the US pronunciation also, which brought to the fore the difference in syllabification. Also added reference to Cambridge English Dictionary, which includes both pronunciations. -- M.boli (talk) 02:15, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
