Thanks for uploading Image:252178128 m.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. Benon 01:00, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:ELE DEMO.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ELE DEMO.JPG. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Image legality questions. 05:50, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Your Changes on Stoner Rock

[edit]

Stoner

[edit]

I maintain the Stoner rock article, and I'm from Edinburgh. So a) good luck with it, but b) have to say that only bands who pass WP:MUSIC and have their own WP article can be on the list. If you're new to Wikipedia, it can take a while to realise that this is not an open-content web directory, there are strict standards for material that can be included. Let me know if you have any mp3s, Deizio 11:24, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've posted on User talk:81.151.167.51 regarding this, because I assumed you and he were the same person, and I didn't want you to miss it in case you logged in. If you're not him, just let me know. Thanks. Supadawg (talkcontribs) 16:35, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Jim Threat and the Vultures has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Found some concert listings in The Skinny (magazine), but no substantial additional reliable coverage beyond the sole present Louder Than War article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
