Tale of the Mighty Knights on today.

[edit]

I don't know if it's part one or two; I assume it's part one, but they may have run the first part at 6/9 AM. They're also running the show a lot more often: 6/9 AM (on Tuesday and Thursday), 3/6 PM, 9 PM/12 AM and 1/4 AM, though the later episodes are usually repeats of the 3/6 PM episode. I don't know if you'll read this before it becomes a moot point, but I noticed you had 'returned' since yesterday, so I thought I'd mention it. Also, it appears 'Tales of the Mighty Knights' is the 'official' title; I've left the listing as the original title of 'The Mighty Egg-Sitters' until this could be verified. HalfShadow (talk) 20:13, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know. I just realized that the Tales of the Mighty Knights is on tonight at 12 am, rather than 2:30 in the afternoon like it used to be. Anyway, I've been rather busy of late, and March isn't any better for me. I will be back to a more normal level in April... -- Flyguy649 talk 20:17, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, it should be 'To the Center of the Earth' tonight, but you haven't seen that one either, so that's still good. Looks like they're finally getting on with showing the rest of season three. Even if you're unable to keep the article up to date with your workload, I'll be able to, no problem. I can be incredibly single-minded once I get started on something. No problem. We don't normally protect preemptively, but there's precidence tonight. I'll give it 6 hours. -- Flyguy649 talk 06:00, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
One last question and I will let you be lol. What is the fastest way to get protection on an article. I've worked on a couple articles in the past where edit wars or vandalism breaks out. Kyros (talk) 06:03, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
WP:RFPP can be quick. It's often faster to directly request from admins who do a lot of protecting if they're online. Before I became an admin, I had a list of 4 or 5 admins I'd seek out. Otherwise, see who's most recently edited RFPP (via page history) and ask on their talk page. Cheers! -- Flyguy649 talk 06:06, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Needs more raid

[edit]

Needs more raid (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) is a sockpuppet of a long-term vandal on Craig Charles, you're generally better off blocking on sight rather than messing about with first level warnings. If you check the recent history there's been plenty of similar vowel removing edits and the like (and other vandalism dating back to 2006), the page has been indefinitely semi-protected to deal with this vandal, and it's highly unlikely any new editor would wait for the necessary period before making their first edit to that particular article other than the vandal in question. Thanks. One Night In Hackney303 11:20, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I've been off for a bit and couldn't recall why I had the page watchlisted. -- Flyguy649 talk 21:02, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

So tell me, what's changed on wikipedia since last July? I see my page withstood the test of time and I hope to make some improvements (if needed). BuickCenturyDriver (talk) 18:43, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Where to begin? I can't even think anymore. WP:RFCN went through another WP:MFD, and now it gets used far less, for the good. There's been another couple of EEEvil admin accounts blocked... you're probabaly best off pouring yourself a cup of coffee (or five) and reading through the archives of WP:ANI and WP:AN! And I'm mostly going to be off until Friday, so I don't know if I'll be able to respond until then. Take care! -- Flyguy649 talk 05:56, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Af far as admins are concerned, I know one of them was known as user:archtransit. Oh well, it;s good to know most admins/moderators can be trusts to act in a responsible manner. BuickCenturyDriver (talk) 18:08, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicts

(Laughs), we did it again. :) Regards, NonvocalScream (talk) 02:00, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Flyguy. Quick question for you - the above user is requesting to be unblocked, stating that his IP address is completely different from the user he's accused of being a sockpuppet of. I checked his userpage, which has a CU-confirmed template on it, but I can't find any discussion to prompt a checkuser. I'm trying to find what evidence led to the block, because I'm considering unblocking him. Thanks for your help. Hersfold (t/a/c) 03:02, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, got it taken care of via IRC. Thanks anyway. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:32, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. -- Flyguy649 talk 12:35, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see you are updating this so I won't rush to do it myself - I'm very busy and likely don't have time anyway. I have written something for Wikinews on it which includes some interesting facts and figures. The report itself should be somewhere, too. See Final report blames instrument failure for Adam Air Flight 574 disaster for details. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 13:05, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm also really busy, but I figured I'd add some of the report's details to the article. I won't likely have time to add more until after Thursday -- real life business -- so feel free to improve what I've done. Cheers! -- Flyguy649 talk 13:16, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I go away to Cyprus soon for two weeks and may not get a chance before then, but if I do I'll work on the article. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 13:21, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oooh! Have fun there! I'll start work on tidying the article next week, now that the investigation is done. -- Flyguy649 talk 13:24, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I will! I might download the report and read it there, too. Please leave ref fixing alone - as I've said before, I left them in a jumbled mess and I will fix them, it's only fair. Fell free to do anything else you see fit, though ;-). Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 13:44, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What is wrong with correcting the spelling of the page? I though that's what this site is about. It should be 'Crannóg' not 'Crannog', so please change it, as I'm not allowed obviously. --MaxPride (talk) 19:22, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replied at User talk:MaxPride. -- Flyguy649 talk 19:26, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

They may start running new Backyardigans episodes by next week.

[edit]

They're up to 'To the Centre of the Earth' and they run two episodes on Tuesdays and Thursdays one at 6/9AM and another at the other showing times. Hopefully they'll continue on to finish the season once they get to the last episode they showed (Caveman's Best Friend). HalfShadow (talk) 20:48, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That would be awesome! I've only got the new ones on dvd... I keep missing the ones on Treehouse. -- Flyguy649 talk 20:51, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, they are on three hours later for you as opposed to me, so the earliest one (except on Tuedays and Thursdays) wouldn't be until 6PM for you anyway. Actually, I was going to ask if you wouldn't mind if I handled the synopses: it gives me something to look forward to. Vandal-hunting and the odd wikignoming is all well and good, but with this, I'm actually accomplishing something. HalfShadow (talk) 20:56, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Very good! I'm not usually home at 6 any more... I've got a cold today. I'm going to go llok at the treehouse.ca site. -- Flyguy649 talk 20:59, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cool (Not about the cold, obviously). You often end up missing the new episodes anyway, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. HalfShadow (talk) 21:04, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Scarian

[edit]

I know you probably don't remember, but this person Scarian and i had some problems awhile back, i know i shouldn't of wrote what i did, but he was nitpicking at me, even after i tried being polite and following the guidelines. ...The Great Dolphin Race is still technically an 'old' episode (it comes just before Caveman's Best Friend). It's not unlikely I could have missed the first showing if it was a 6 AM showing.
