Van Wolputte studied at the Sint-Lucasschool in Antwerp (2002-2006) the training "Open Atelier". In 2007 he moved to Amsterdam where he had a residency at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten ^[1]. In 2010 he returned to Antwerp.

Since 2003, Van Wolputte has explored urban landscapes and made site-specific interventions.
