Why do you categorize this in Publishing, rather than in the subcategory Magazines? An apa is a collection of 'zines, after all. --Orange Mike 21:31, 5 July 2007 (UTC) (Currently a member of MilwAPA; formerly in FAPA, Turbo and others)[reply]

The sole purpose of an A.P.A. is to combine their zines, collating them into bundles (traditionally called "mailings") which are then in turn redistributed to the members of said A.P.A. (although collation parties can be a great deal of fun). The A.P.A. mailing "is a collection of 'zines"; not the A.P.A. itself; so technically, you are definitely correct: the Amateur Press Association is the group of people putting out the mailings. This still falls firmly within the purview of the Magazines category, and I shall re-allocate it there, with your kind concurrence. --Orange Mike 12:59, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stub sorting

[edit]

What is your rational for removing the chemistry stub tag from COLUMBUS and only leaving a computer code tag? This is a chemistry computer program for doing chemistry and the stub sorting should tell the chemists that there is a stub here. I have similar but lesser concerns about you removing the chemistry stub from chemistry journal titles and only leaving the science journal stub. What harm does both do? --Bduke 06:51, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comment on my talk page. I have restored the chemistry stub on the chemical computer program article as there are many such articles and the others have it. As I said I am less bothered about the journals. --Bduke 23:13, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Putting cat Disaster preparedness in cat Disasters

[edit]

Disaster preparedness is already in cat Emergency management. Cat Disasters are for actual events of various types and Cat Disaster Preparedness does hence not fit in. What is your argument for putting it there? --rxnd ( t | | c ) 13:54, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

book-arts-stub

[edit]

Thanks for the comment on the proposed book-arts-stub. One of the problems I find is that many of the articles aren't either stubbed or categorized, so the number 24 is I think a little misleading . But I'll hunt around and see if I can find some more that belong there, thanks for the encouragement :) --Bookgrrl holler/lookee here 22:20, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The secret island of Utobi

[edit]

Hi there. I have proposed the deletion of The secret island of Utobi so I thought it would be polite to inform you as you have made some edits to categorise the article. Please remove the prod template if you feel it is inappropriate. Thanks and best regards TreeKittens 00:37, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Input on categorisation barnstar?

[edit]

I came across this suggestion for a 'categorisation barnstar'. As you've created lots of stub images and some barnstars, I thought you might be able to offer some help or advice... Alai 03:54, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Big Splash (book)

[edit]

Thank you for the contribution. Are there any published guidelines on using book stub categories I may have missed? Conrad T. Pino 05:05, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:BandoftheHandDVD.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BandoftheHandDVD.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 19:09, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
