License tagging for Image:DonorsChoose.org Small v2.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DonorsChoose.org Small v2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:06, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi. Please stop editing this article while we sort out a couple of technical issues due to the way it was moved. You are probably unaware that we have a procedure for changing the names of articles which you have not followed. Because of the need under our GFDL licensing arrangement to preserve the edit history of articles, simple cutting and pasting from one article into another is not normally appropriate. It will take a short time to revert the changes made and then "move" the page, including the edit history, from the DonorsChoose name to Donorschoose.org (shouldn't that really be DonorsChoose.org though?). Please hold off editing the new article until that is completed. Thanks -- SiobhanHansa 18:52, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This has been completed. Please feel free to edit away. If you need to change the name of another article (or if this one should really be at DonorsChoose.org) the way to do it that keeps the edit history intact is to use the "move" tab at the top of the page (between to the "history" and "watch/unwatch" tabs). Or please feel free to drop me a message at the bottom of my talk page and I'll do it for you! Happy editing. -- SiobhanHansa 19:29, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
