Sage advice :)

[edit]

I see that you are new and that you are creating many articles on Bruce Springsteen songs. Couple of things to keep in mind. First, unless there is another song with the same name on the site, you do not need to put anything after the title. Secondly, when you do need to add something, it's better to add "(song)" as in "Night (song)" instead of the year. If you find that an artist did a different song with the same title, you would use "Night (Bruce Springsteen song)". All of this is in the various Wikipedia:Manual of Style pages. Finally, I'd suggest looking at other articles in the Springsteen song category to see the general format of the articles. Articles almost always start with the name of the article, as in the changes I made to the article you submitted here. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 12:02, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, you seem to be picking some of Springsteen's most obscure songs to create articles about, and then not saying much about them, and then writing the article poorly and not in conformance to Wikipedia practices. Such articles are very likely to get deleted in the near future, and your work will disappear. As Woohookitty suggested, look at some of the more well-developed song articles in Category:Bruce Springsteen songs for what you need to do. Wasted Time R 18:24, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article The Fever (1973 song), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello SherbourneDrive! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 793 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
