Note on Alli Joseph

[edit]

I left a note on the article's talk page- it's necessary to add some of the reliable independent sources that have written about Ms. Joseph's importance, to verify that she meets Wikipedia's notability criteria. I can see you're still working on the article, so I won't switch back to the redirect on you yet, but adding sources should be a high priority for you as you work, to avoid some other editor removing what you've done. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 18:50, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(talk · contribs) Hi FisherQueen. Trying to figure out how to add a reference list to do what you ask. Can you help?

Sure, I'd be glad to help. There are instructions on how to do it at WP:CITE, but those are way too complicated for me. I usually just copy the templates from an article that already has them, like today's featured article. Short version: put tags that say <ref> and </ref> around your source, then at the bottom of the page, create a References section and add the template {{reflist}} to automatically list them. I'll do an example for you [1]. If you want to be extra-awesome, you can use a citation template to do something like this. [2]-FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:06, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
