How to revert edits

Hi - I saw your comment elsewhere. To revert a series of edits in one move: Go to the history. Click the first and last edits you want to remove as the two revisions you want to compare, then click "compare selected revisions". Make sure that what you see if what you want to remove, then click "undo" (I think on the right side). Let me know if you have any trouble... Luminifer (talk) 19:34, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Saw notice on your talk page. I hope too much time hasn't passed. Sorry, but no matter how far down the edit history list I check, only the next edit from the top will be skipped when I click "Compare selected revisions." See Green Hornet edit history for my most recent problem. --Tbrittreid (talk) 22:02, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Never mind, I've got it now. The problem was that I needed to click on to the edit I wished to return to, not the earliest that I wanted to undo. Also, I forgot I would be getting the stuff I wanted to get rid of on my right until I clicked "undo"! That one was my fault.--Tbrittreid (talk) 22:43, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Hi - sorry, I did notice this second edit, but I must have missed the first one - I wasn't looking for it since over a week had passed by! Anyway, glad you figured it out! Luminifer (talk) 04:21, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

There's a new AfD nomination for an article you've previously discussed. Please stop by to voice your opinions again. CzechOut | 11:48, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Neutral third party

Regarding your edit comment "...the third party, who I better not have a history with". If you'd just follow the link on the RFC tag I added, you'd know that I didn't request anyone specific, let alone any of the people you have a bad history with. I simply posted an RFC. Not everyone uses Wikipedia to carry out grudges. - Jason A. Quest (talk) 01:07, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

BBC Holmes

Happened across your discussion with another user where you mentioned the BBC Sherlock Holmes series of the 1960s. Just thought I'd let you know that happily episodes do exist - quite a few of the Wilmer series, I believe, although sadly only six of the Cushing one which followed it. (Technically they were the same series, something to do with them having to be for the BBC to have the rights to make the Cushing one; hence Nigel Stock plays Watson in both). Sadly I think only two of the Wilmer episodes have ever been released, and that was on VHS quite a few years ago. However, all six surviving episodes of the Cushing series are available on DVD. Very good they are too! Angmering (talk) 18:25, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

I think they've been kicking around for quite some time - certainly I don't recall any Wilmer recoveries being reported in the last ten years or so. I have heard stories of the BBC being very reluctant to admit to how many, if any, episodes of the Cushing series they still held when asked in the 1980s - no idea why - so perhaps that's something to do with it. Anyhow, whisper it quietly, but there do seem to be bits and pieces of the Wilmer show lurking online. Angmering (talk) 22:20, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

FYI, having read the guideline, you're well aware that we are not a directory service. Per the section on "what not to include", this extends to fan sites, forums, and wikis. The article is well served by several links to professional sites, and as such there is no need for any of those fan sites. I would strongly encourage you to please self-revert; if you feel strongly about the links, you are free to argue for their inclusion on the talk page. Again, the onus is on an editor to justify why they should be included, not why they should be excluded. Links do not get a free pass just because they exist. --Ckatzchatspy 20:18, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
