Ireland -> Republic of Ireland

[edit]

Hi Tim! I've looked over WP:CfD and can't find anything in the recent archives or logs regarding moving categories containing "Ireland" to "Republic of Ireland", such as you've done here and here. I'm wondering can you point me towards the discussion, please, and whether it was done in the knowledge of this ArbCom ruling? BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 20:04, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Default sort..

[edit]

Is there a particular reason you've removed the {{DEFAULTSORT}} templates from a number of English monarchs? Ealdgyth - Talk 23:00, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There's a new AfD nomination for an article you've previously discussed. Please stop by to voice your opinions again. CzechOut | 12:10, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

[edit]

I saw you hardwork in creating the mass murder by year category. Thanks for your efoort. Taprobanus (talk) 19:20, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Events at Wembley Stadium

[edit]

You might want to be aware of the categories for discussion discussion here: [1] Since a similar category was deleted before now, you might want to discuss it before continuing to populate the category. Just a heads up so you don't waste your efforts. Cheers & Merry Xmas. --Jameboy (talk) 11:24, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, you don't seem to have distinguished between the old and new Wembley. The current stadium is Wembley Stadium, while the old one was Wembley Stadium (1923). You need to make that distinction at the very least. --Jameboy (talk) 11:32, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Tim!! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 826 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Caroline Morris - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Stephen Fewell - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  3. Lesley Dunlop - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Where is the real user, behind your bot, Tim?

[edit]

Please do reply on my talk page. Best, Wikidea 10:13, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, but this looks like a bot page for someone else, and so I'm wondering who the someone else is. I've just noticed the bot putting categories on everything. I don't really understand why it does a few a day though - is it programmed to search slowly or something? Just interested. Wikidea 21:48, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I understand! Good work! Wikidea 18:05, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

cats

[edit]

Hi, you seem to be mass adding cats that are uncited and unsupported by content within the body of the articles, why is that? Off2riorob (talk) 20:50, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I removed Gordon Brown, looking at some others they seem ok, but Brown attracted my attention. I appreciate you are checking but how do you do that? you added about fifteen in ten minutes. Off2riorob (talk) 20:56, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That is my issue, all labour mps are claimed in a primary link to be this, but is it noteworthy then, there has been no need for this cat for a long time and personally I don't see any value to it now. Off2riorob (talk) 21:06, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Ceremony innocence.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Ceremony innocence.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:00, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Chris Cwej.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Chris Cwej.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:49, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I added a new category Behavioral economics to it. Please take a look at the categorization of Underling...., the main issue Behavioural economics and the new category, and make changes if you think are necessary. -Aleksd (talk) 08:09, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
