materialgrades.com

[edit]

I notice that your only contributions to Wikipedia involve repeatedly adding links to materialgrades.com to multiple articles. This comes across as spamming, especially considering that there are several other accounts with similar names, User:Sayyid Waqas and User:SM Waqas Imam, doing the same thing so I have removed them for now. In general, before adding links to the same external website to multiple articles you should first get consensus among other editors that it is ok. You could ask, for example, at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Engineering and/or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Metalworking and see what others think. Thank you. [1] Deli nk (talk) 11:57, 30 July 2018 (UTC) The links are adding value and contribution to wikipedia. Therefore please consider I will try to get consensus. Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Deli nk (talk) 12:55, 30 July 2018 (UTC) I know Wikipedia used nofollow attribute and it is of no use for search engines, therefore these links are added for contribution purpose only.
