1892 Serenade for Strings - Elgar Op. 20 mv 1

Edward Elgar's Serenade for Strings (Op. 20 mv 1), which was written for a String orchestra, is performed by the United States Army Band's United States Army Strings ensemble.

As a reworking of an earlier composition, this is regarded as the earliest of Edward Elgar's compositions to have survived into the standard repertoire. This file adds significantly to the following articles:
