Draft no longer in use for editing purposes. It's becoming a honeypot for bots and wikignomes fixing irrelevant errors. Dennis Bratland (talk) 19:37, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete and what a fantastic explanation - I've never been able to articulate the "time wasting draft" rational so clearly. Legacypac (talk) 02:18, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- It is very interesting. I became very distracted reading it. WP:Alternative outlets probably applies, and WP:NOR would be the reason it doesn't belong here. I guess it is possible that common misconceptions is a notable topic.... --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:15, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- There you go, List of common misconceptions, an article from 2003. This draft appears to be a fork. User:Dennis Bratland should be questioned about its creation. User:Auric and User:Headbomb have made 4 and 3 edits to it. Anything useful should be merged back into the mainspace article. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:19, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- I can't find the thread in the talk archive, but there was talk of splitting off or deleting entries because the list was too long. I created the draft to work on making them each shorter. Still needs to be done but the draft right now isn't being used, as far as I know. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 07:35, 11 December 2017 (UTC)

- merge into the mainspace article seems the best thing here. Egaoblai (talk) 16:12, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete. There is no point merging this, since the mainspace one badly needs to go to WP:AFD: It's just a pile of OR, selective PoV and cherry picking, WP:NOT#INDISCRIMINATE trivia-mongering in the form of something like a warehouse full of miniature WP:COATRACKs, and largely unreliable sourcing when there's any at all. Of the non-obvious points in it I spot-checked, I found RS contradicting several of them; many of these things are actually debatable and WP cannot report one viewpoint on them as context-free fact. Of the really obvious stuff, well, it's obvious and it's not WP's job to debunk silly urban legends; that's what Snopes is for. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ< 18:57, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
- Redirect to List of common misconceptions, from which it originates, and delete if the article is deleted. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:58, 18 December 2017 (UTC)
