The reasons, certainly including number 8, assume the redirect is in article space. The reason probably is well applied in project space, but it doesn't really apply in userspace. In userspace, a redirect only needs to have use for the user. I think that a redirect left behind as the remnant of a proper page-move is a very appropriate record to keep in your own userspace. User:Sloggerbum/Averywatts (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) is a pretty unambiguous delete. It is not a STALEDRAFT, but a copy of deleted content, with some strong delete opinions voiced in the AfD. It should be considered SoftDeleted from userspace, available for any established editor in good standing to attempt to work on again. If ever undeleted, it should not be left live during periods of inactivity. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 02:24, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User:Sloggerbum/Dana Levin (poet) (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) could be redirected Dana Levin (artist). User:Sloggerbum did some significant draft work on a copy before incorporating the drafting into mainspace [1]. The userpace history could be deleted, as sufficient attribution already exists, assuming 24.17.43.13 20:07, 4 June 2010 was User:Sloggerbum logged out. We wouldn't be deleting these userspace relics for an editor in good standing, why should we delete them in this case? --SmokeyJoe (talk) 02:34, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I find SmokeyJoe's arguments to be compelling. How about this:

User:Sloggerbum/Averywatts --> delete.

User:Sloggerbum/DRAFTBB --> blank.

User:Sloggerbum/Chino Maurice --> blank.

User:Sloggerbum/DRAFTme --> blank.

User:Sloggerbum/Dana Levin (poet) --> Rename to User:Sloggerbum/Dana Levin (artist) and blank.

Move them all to mainspace unless they're clearly not suited for it, in which case delete. It's extremely unlikely these pages will have any use in the future, and they're easily enough restored if there's interest in them. It's nonsensical to leave a bunch of blank pages in a indefinitely blocked user's userspace. --BDD (talk) 17:56, 10 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That would be fine with me. Before I filed this MfD I carefully went through every one (looking at the history of the blanked ones) and moved everything that was suitable to mainspace. In most cases he blanked them because he had moved them to mainspace, but I found one that looked like he was in the middle of creating it, so I added refs, copyedited, and created the page[2][3]. OK, after waiting a couple of weeks to see if there was any further discussion, I went ahead and made the move, removed all of the MfD notices, and added Template:Intentionally blank. All that remains is deleting User:Sloggerbum/Averywatts as a userspace copy of a deleted page and closing this MfD. --Guy Macon (talk) 19:52, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
