July started with a dazzling event as ILTM Asia Pacific was unveiled in Singapore for its 2024 edition in the first week of July.   Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) was thrilled to welcome more than 50 lifestyle and travel media at the invite-only events — a glamorous cocktail party at KOMA Singapore and a sophisticated lunch at LeVel33. Media in attendance included journalists and editors from Condé Nast Traveler Middle East, Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, New Straits Times, as well as Harper’s Bazaar.   LHG senior executives spoke about significant milestones from the past year at the events. Lawrence Ng, Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Shelley Tso, Vice President - Marketing and Communications, and Jeffrey van Vorsselen, Regional Vice President - Operations for Pacific, each gave speeches highlighting some of the year’s most notable achievements. A few milestones of the year included the launch of the new loyalty programme Brilliant by Langham, seven MICHELIN stars and four Black Pearl awards for LHG hotels in Greater China, successful partnerships with brands such as Art Basel in Hong Kong, and the opening of Cordis, Foshan, Lingnan Tiandi also marked LHG continued effort in strategic expansion.   Furthermore, LHG’s Global Sales Team and hotel executives were delighted to meet with key clients and reconnect with partners and friends at the ILTM event.   #ILTMAsiaPacific #LovingLangham #TheLangham

At Langham Hospitality Group, DEI is woven into our very core. We foster a culture of respect for colleagues, guests, business partners, and the communities we serve. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive work environment where every colleague feels empowered to share their unique perspectives and be their own true selves.   This month of pride, we want to share the career experiences and contributions of three of our esteemed colleagues from The Langham Hotels around the world, and each of them exemplifies a different aspect of The Langham Way.   Richard AkersBarrows, seeing others proudly sharing their authentic selves, realised coming out was truly empowering and it helped shape him into the man he is today. “I have enjoyed an amazing and exciting career with The Langham, Boston. I have always felt a sense of belonging, respect and love here, and I’m proud to be part of my community.”   Cleo Antolin initially felt isolated due to the lack of representation upon joining The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue a year ago. However, he found solace in the supportive environment that encouraged him to be his authentic self. "The Langham provided me with an opportunity to be authentic. There may not always be much representation, but I implore you to always solidly be yourself.” Agnes Restiana Kiswari, a much-welcomed rejoiner, was particularly drawn to the inclusive and welcoming culture of The Langham, Jakarta she did not find elsewhere. “I have learned to embrace individual differences with open arms, and Artesian embodies this ethos, with an inclusive environment where every team member's background and experiences are celebrated.”   We value connecting from the heart, and one team, one dream, as well as becoming better every day and doing the right thing – All of this can be seen in the day-to-day conduct; we couldn’t be prouder to have Agnes, Cleo and Richard with us.   #Diversity #Equity #Inclusion #Hospitality #LanghamDEI #InclusiveWorkplace
