E Vicipaedia
Fridericus Jackson Turner iuvenis.

Fridericus Jackson Turner (natus Portage Visconsiniae die 14 Novembris 1861; mortuus Sancti Marini Californiae die 14 Martii 1932) fuit rerum gestarum scriptor Americanus, apud Universitatem Visconsiniae usque ad 1910, tum apud Universitatem Harvardianams. Historiographus thesi limitum innotuit. Commentario "The Significance of the Frontier in American History" ('Momentum limitum in historia Americana') innotuit, cuius coniecturae thesim limitum (Anglice 'frontier thesis') formaverunt. Arguit mutantis limites occidentales democratiam Americanam moresque Americanos ab aevo colonico usque ad annum 1890 formavisse. Etiam theoriis sectionalismi geographici innotuit.

Turner gradum Ph.D. in historia apud Universitatem Hopkinsiensem anno 1890 accepit, per The Character and Influence of the Indian Trade in Wisconsin, dissertationem de commercio pellis in Visconsinia, sub aegide Herberti Baxter Adams.

Obiit anno 1932 Sancti Marini Californiae, ubi socius indagatorius in Bibliotheca Huntingtoniana fuerat.
