Xdinary Heroes is a South Korean rock band under JYP Entertainment's sub-label, Studio J. They made their official debut on December 6, 2021, with the single "Happy Death Day". The band comprises six members: Gunil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, and Jooyeon, all actively involved in writing, composing, and producing their music.
The band's name, a shortened form of "Extraordinary Heroes", reflects their concept of empowering anyone to become a hero. Their journey began with JYP Entertainment teasing a new group on November 1, followed by the official reveal of Xdinary Heroes' logo and name on November 8.

Individual member announcements took place from November 15 to 20, with Jooyeon revealed first, followed by O.de, Gaon, Jun Han, Jungsu, and Gunil. Teasers from November 22 to 27 showcased each member's musical role, highlighting Jooyeon on bass, O.de on synthesizer, Gaon and Jun Han on electric guitar, Jungsu on keyboard, and Gunil on drums.
