Actor Jaideep Ahlawat has given a stellar performance in the new Yash Raj and Netflix film Maharaj. But it is his weight loss transformation that has impressed all. For Maharaj, the 44 year old actor had lost 26 kilos in just 5 months.
Sharing his pictures on Instagram, Jaideep wrote, "From 109.7 Kg. to 83 Kg. in 5 months. That's the Physical Transformation for the Role of Maharaj.
Thank you Prajwal Sir for believing in me @prajwal7542."
In a new video, Jaideep has shared his workouts that he followed during the preparation of Maharaj.
Bicep curls: Bicep curls are a fundamental exercise targeting the biceps muscles. To perform them, stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand with palms facing forward. Keep your elbows close to your torso and curl the weights upward while contracting your biceps. Pause at the top, then slowly lower the weights back to the starting position. Ensure controlled movements to maximize muscle engagement and avoid injury. Bicep curls improve arm strength and muscle tone, making them a staple in upper body workouts. For variety, try different grips or equipment like barbells and resistance bands.

Lateral raise: Lateral raises are an effective exercise for strengthening and sculpting the shoulder muscles, particularly the deltoids. To perform a lateral raise, stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand by your sides with palms facing inward. Keeping a slight bend in your elbows, raise your arms out to the sides until they are parallel to the floor, forming a "T" shape with your body. Pause briefly at the top, then slowly lower the weights back to the starting position. Ensure controlled movements and avoid swinging to maintain proper form and maximize muscle activation.

Chest press: The chest press is a fundamental exercise for building upper body strength, primarily targeting the pectoral muscles, triceps, and shoulders. To perform a chest press, lie on a flat bench with a dumbbell or barbell in each hand. With your feet firmly planted on the ground, press the weights upward from your chest until your arms are fully extended. Pause briefly, then lower the weights back to chest level in a controlled motion. Ensure proper form by keeping your back flat and avoiding locking your elbows. The chest press enhances muscle mass and endurance in the upper body.
In the Maharaj movie, Jaideep plays the antagonist. This movie is the Bollywood debut of Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan. It also stars Shalini Pandey, and Sharvari in key roles.
