  • I want you tell me what exactly I've to do. I only want to take the ligurian project and try to give to it a dignity. In any case I suggest you register an account here at Meta, crosslink it to another wiki where you have some significant contributions. However adminship does not give you license to change content unilaterally, only to fight vandalism and the like. There are local bureaucrats on TestWiki and I'd be a little surprised if someone who can't form a link correctly should be a sysop on a wiki to "develop JS, PHP and RSS". None of those are developed on testwiki. Testwiki is the developers' testwiki for displaying the live code from SVN. You might be thinking of "The Test Wiki" instead. Two voters don't seem to have any other meaningful contributions beside the voting page and some of the others don't seem to be particularly active on the project. Yes it's needed. And all the voters are active in sq.wikipedia.org and almost all of them are sysops. The idea of asking for bureaucrat is not to "please" you for all the thinks since we can do by our self. I don't realy see why you don't give that access. Otherwise when you ask why you should also ask why not to understand better the sitation. An at the end, if it was not needed I would not make the request, as we did not do it until now. I think those thinks are clear.
P.S. If you don't whant to give that access please write straight, and don't play with uninteresting moves (this is an open comunity I'll discusse and with other stuards about the need). Puntori 23:20, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Why would Dori's opinion matter? This kind of stance just highlights that there are privileged users whose opinions are above those of respective communities. This "drama" is interesting. I can't understand your reaction in case with: Dtom@hrwikibooks request and in our casa. What do you think I'll take that access at home and never give back? Funny. It looks like a fairly small community, so I doubt they really need a bureaucrat. It looks likes most of the voters are Wikipedians, but they do seem to have about enough votes and other then the two, none of the votes look suspect. For your information, WonRyong once has been blocked for a week in ko.wikipedia due to his offense against other users, and blocked again due to his abusing of multiple accounts. Three of them were permanently blocked [12] [13] [14] and one of them was blocked for two weeks. [15] He was also charged with his constant copyright infringement and at least a year of block was suggested, which 17 users of ko.wikipedia supported. [16] Currently, he is creating a lot of pages, including Wikisource namespace ones, which should not be created by a user but through users' discussions. For example he created s:ko:Wikisource:컨센서스 starting with explicit POV, which could be translated as: "Decision should be made by consensus. [...] Actually there is no consensus, only vote exists. From prehistoric age to now, and to future, in every kind of society including communism or democracy, the principle and basis are voting."(모든 사회의 의사결정은 기본적으로 컨센서스에 의해 결정되는 것이 원칙입니다. [...] 실질적으로는, 컨센서스는 없으며, 투표만이 존재합니다. 역시, 원시시대 부터 지금까지, 미래에도, 공산주의건 민주주의건 어떤 공동체에서도, 그 원칙과 기본은 투표입니다.) Also, still I really don't see any reason to keep his temporary admin status while there's neither ko.wikisource users' consensus for his admin status nor other admin's absence anymore. --HanDongSeong 06:11, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
I was contacted by a Korean user yesterday who explained the situation to me differently, he had no concerns regarding WonRyong. I don't see how creating Wikisource-namespace pages has anything to do with having a sysop flag. Being banned on another project is not necessarily a reason not to be sysop on another project. The temporary sysopship is granted to users on projects with no or very small communities. The request made below looks valid to me, also I still don't see a reason to remove the flag granted by a valid request, even if an user returns after one year inactivity one or two days afterwards. I will however ask other stewards to review this issue.

  • He/she creating too many problematic article. [24] So a user requested to stop these at here. But he/she ignored this requests and acts against consensus.

The Icelandic Wikipedia has recently enacted an inactivity policy for its admins/bureaucrats. The policy is to notify admins on their talk pages if they have not made an edit for over a year and give them two weeks to respond. If they don't respond or if they don't express interest in keeping the admin privileges, they will lose them. Three users were given such notices in early march but none of them have made an edit since then. Please remove their admin/bureaucrats privileges.

I'm requesting sysop access for Vietbio at the Vietnamese Wikibooks, since we have no local bureaucrats.

Consta requests permanent sysop access on el.wikiversity. The voting process lasted one week and there were two people that voted in favor, and none opposed or neutral. The other active participants refrained from voting or weren't informed about the election (although mentioned in el.wv's forum). Since el.wv was recently launched, we didn't have the time to vote for a policy about sysop elections. Our opinions differed as regards if this vote states community consensus, the talk was made in el.wv's irc channel unfortunately and there is no talk about that in el.wv's forum. Hi. I'm Alison, aka w:en:User:Alison, sysop from gawiki and gawikti. There is currently no sysop over on gdwikti yet there's still a lot of work to do. Similar to gawikti which was dormant last year, I would dearly love to restart this wiktionary as a Scots Gaelic Wiktionary would be an immense asset to native speakers. There is still quite a lot of ongoing vandalism and cruft over there, though Drini does an excellent job in keeping it in check :)

Hi Kiensvay, I would suggest temp-sysop for this user also, in the voting the vandalaccount Nums voted, then one user from en.wiki and You, the community on km.wiki is too small to have a voting for permanent members. Temp-sysopship will be prolonged without problems if there are no problems. Since You know there have been many problems recently, it is also a good protection for km.wiki not to give permanent sysopship. I suggest a temporary flag for 3 months, (just like it was arranged for You). Please tell me if this is acceptable for You. As said, the temporary flag is technically absolutely the same, You just come back here shortly before the flag expires and we prolong it. Importer for Skizzerz@mediawiki

I'd like to be an importer at mediawiki.org, as there is a whole slew of great documentation that is not on MediaWiki wiki, and as such it cannot be ported over there easily while maintaining the terms of the GFDL. If I had the import right, I would be able to Export the documentation pages that really stand out as being good from those wikis (if they have a compatible license) and Import them on MediaWiki by file upload.
