Symane and Vipuser@ganwikipedia

We request Bureaucrat access@ganwikipedia. We are the site proposal users and the main editors of gan wikipedia in incubator site. When the gan wikipedia built formally in May 26th, we need the founction of bureaucrat rights to authorize the bot request and maintence the interface of the site. so we nominate two users requesting bureaucrat rights in the site and win common sense of serveral users including the acceptence of the native speaker proposal users. So please authorize the bureaucrat access to Symane and Vipuser. The main work of Symane is maintence of the interface, and vipuser is responsible for dealing the request of bots and site maintence affairs . Thanks very much!

Shizhao, Note that 1. These two guys are experienced wikipedians. They are supported by the gan: community and they will use these tools well. 2. The English wikiversity started with temporary a sysop and a temporary bureaucrat; it worked well and nobody has complained. 3. These guys have valid reasons to request bureaucratships. 4. Requests for bureaucratship are local affairs. The only question should be whether there is an active community supporting each request. The community should decide for themselves whether it is acceptable for somebody to become a bureaucrat straightaway. Yep, You can add also bots of other botowners, temporary bureaucrat status is only given in very very special cases (because making it temporary is rather senseless, since one could then change the rights of other users), rather not, also it is mostly done like: first sysop then crat, in this case please add the bots to be flagged to the request page on meta. But I can see there is no sysop in gan.wiki [1]. Comment: please remember that Wikipedia is not a bureaucracy -- what would be different if all people who voted on ro.wiki would have created accounts on Wikisource just to vote for the guy? I think you should consider his application on its own merits instead of declaring mistrial on technical grounds -- in my opinion his course of action shows that he's an upstanding user who has chosen to withstand the scrutiny of his peers instead of applying for this position based on the known unresponsiveness of the non-existing community at ro.Wikisource. --Gutza 22:59, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

the last activity is marked on may...it had been put for closure but i motivated the position of this wiki. it's a long term project; there is a lack of contribution but things are going ahead.i'm looking for contributions and documents, medias freely available, distribuable or donations for the library :-); i do think things will go better when all needed translations will be done (availability for wiktionary, wikiquote and wikversity); closing them is a heavy damage for our emerging language.

i'd like to have permanent status; i had two 3 months mandates and one 6 months mandate yet (the last expires today) with temporary administrator access; there is a serious lack of great contributions but we are struggling to get things better and enhance contributions to the haitian wikipedia;there is a lot of sections to develop and translations to be done (about 1300 in wikimedia messages)

Please do not translate messages on the wiki. For translating messages, there is the translatewiki. Only there should translations be done. i've adopted some strategies to motivate anonymous contributors (discussion panel,opening other articles by new links,intra-wiki links or else, categories, correcting their own contributions with better format, or check some users from forums of the haitian community; after an announcement, there is an increase of anonymous contributions, we discuss hard but always a lack of permanent contribution; i contact researchers, teachers, professors, students, engineers, physicians, natives...they all say the project is interesting but most of them require something finished, completed to go further and others require financial grounds;it's a bit difficult but i'll try to continue my efforts, gradually, incessantly, steadily (particularly the translation task); they are some sections that could bring more contributions and i'll promote them (religion, medicine, history). Other projects that could bring more contributions, according to what i see on the web concerning haitian creole, are the wiktionary and wikiquote projects; i've started them on incubator but it lacks the translation of all mediawiki messages (most-used yet done); i hope those projects will open soon also. I would say grant the status, even though the voting seems to go on very long. Two sysops supported him and the other votes are also not 0 edit accounts. Traditionally, users who have requested removal of their own rights in uncontroversial circumstances are allowed to re-request them if they change their minds. In the event that Spoladore decides otherwise, the policies of Portuguese Wikipedia should be considered and, if allowable by the community, reversal may be performed by a local bureaucrat. Spoladore requested the removal[9] and is the same user as on Portuguese Wikipedia (CA), so this should not be a case of mistaken identity. The internal discussion was about two things at the same time, if the admin should loose his sysop status due to inactivity and if such actions could be undone without further notice. As I read the discussion about this I am fairly sure we have consensus for removing the actual users right due to inactivity, but there are no consensus for changing our policy for desysop in general (Ie. there are no such policy). The user is given due notice on email, and there are no response or activity from the user. Thank You so much for understanding :) There are some disputes on sk wiki and I fought actively for my meaning. I didnt know, however, that Kandy dislikes it, he is for sure much more useful admin as I am. What is interesting, my sisters know him personally, they spend couple vacations together, in reconstruction of one old monastery. I realize the links may look strange, but we don't use the typical RFA method on that project. I am Terra's "mentor", meaning I am responsible for his actions for the duration of his probationary custodianship. As far as I understand there is 4 weeks of probational custodianship under a mentors supervising. After that, evaluation starts. And if mentor does not agree on his custodianship, he should find another mentor in 48 hours. If he cannot, then is user right will be revoked. That is what I understood from the Wikiversity policy pages. Am I right? If yes, we need to give him time and I guess he needs to know that you are not his mentor anymore. Sorry for so much bureaucracy but we should play along with the policies. Of course I may not see the whole picture, if so please direct me to the right policy pages so we can justify our move. When I was talking with User:Aphaia today about adding Wikimania 2008 site notices to the Persian ("fa") wikis, I noticed that Persian Wiktionary doesn't have a "community" as I find it, but is edited by a few anonymous and registered users every day. There may be a chance that adding the sitenotices to such low activity wikis can be helpful. Local administrators, however, are not available to handle this. That is why I'm requesting for temporary adminship on this wiki, so I can handle the site notices stuff.
