Adminship request for Wikisource on Macedonian

Hello, I am not quite familiar with the process of making request here, so I am asking some of the stewards to explain me how can I get administratorship in the Wikisource on Macedonian? I am admin on the Macedonian Wikipedia and I have decided to reorganize and fix the Wikisource on Macedonian since it is in bad condition. Hello MacedonianBoy, please make a local announcement on mk.wikisource to inform locals and give them the chance to object (e.g. in the village pump or if there is none on the main-page-talkpage. After ~1week make a request on srp, if there is no local community or if it is too small, that is no problem, we can grant You temporary adminship for 3 months then, which is technically the same (don't worry) and which can be prolonged of course. There is no community at Wikisource, thats why I am writing here. That is the problem that I am facing with, the community that edits on Wikisource is too small and they are basically people that accidentally have the materials and put them as they are, without any corrections and such things. As an example of the small community, you can see only my edits there on the resent changes and my new design for the Main Page. People that are editing on the Macedonian Wikisource prefer to edit on the Macedonian Wikipedia and they rarely visit the Wikisource.--MacedonianBoy 12:54, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Yes, no worries, as said, that is no problem, just open a local announcement about You wanting to get adminrights there, just in case someone is reading mk.wikisource or rarely contributing we always ask for local requests too, because locals should not be excluded from the process, and then after about one week open a request on srp and You will be granted temp adminship for 3 months, best regards, --birdy geimfyglið _(:> )=| 12:55, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Only one user (the current only administrator) commented so far, but iowikt has few active users anyway. Also, the current administrator (Artomo), who is adept at the language Ido but not really experienced with the MediaWiki system, needs assistance in wiki managing. Hello Wyvernoid and thanks for your helping but voting just begun 1 day ago and there is just only support and 1 vote is not enough for permanent adminship .please hold the RFA at least for one week (though i suggest two weeks) then make another request here .Also you can request for temporary adminship which is technically same as permanent adminship and it is more suitable for wikis without lots of active users --Mardetanha ^talk 09:48, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for paying attention. @Mardetanha: As I said, there aren't a lot of users active on iowikt and they probably will just focus on editing instead of even taking a look at the community portal. But of course I can wait some more time. @birdy-geimfyglið: I don't really intend to just edit the interface (since I do have an account at betawiki), but there are a lot of other things like sidebar, site css/js and so on that need to be edited. Yes I can. But there will be no answer :). The ´crat who have been active is not longer aactive, even at bs.wiki. The admins have gone. User Pearl who was the last active admin is also gone (as i can see on recent changes). Thats the only reason I need it. I have start manualy, and there are just some pages to delete. Ich dachte mir schon, den Namen kenne ich von wo, also lieber auf Deutsch. Ich habe gesehen, dass in den letzten Aenderungen nicht viel los ist, dennoch bitten wir eigentlich immer (auszer fuer ganz kurze temporaere Geschichten) um lokale Ankuendigungen, einfach um lokalen Benuetzern die Möglichkeit zu geben Einspruch zu erheben und um uns nachher nicht anhören zu muessen, dass sie davon ja nichts wussten und den Adminstatus des jeweiligen Tempadmins anfechten (alles schon dagewesen).

Considering this page and its protection I'd remove the sysop bit, but I'll defer to User:Spacebirdy, since he asked for a further verification, that - if necessary - could be achieved via meta.wikimedia account unmerging. Hello Ciphers, I do understand You. However, we cannot grant permanent adminship if there is just one vote, the votings, as You know, usually are a quality control, so that only users trusted by the community, who are doing (from the community pov) constructive work to the project, are elected sysops. On smaller projects there is no such control and there were some bad incidents in the past which is why there is temp-adminship. But please note, that the prolonging process is not having arguments, people just leave a note here like "I wish to prolong my status" (and link the project with the sr-request template) and a steward takes a look into their contributions and prolongs the status if there are no problems locally.
