Which is why it's not a good idea now... You're the only real active user (list) - and only Bermaya and Vito Genovese were a bit active the past month. Besides, five votes of inactive people is way too little for a bureaucrat voting. No really, this project is too small to have local bureaucrats imo. Trijnstel_talk 21:53, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

In general, permanent bureaucrats are appointed on wikis with multiple active sysops, with a mature community of active users involved in the vote. Also, I would be very wary of promoting a single bureaucrat. Please understand that the bureaucrat main functions are renames, granting of bot rights and promotion of sysops, such tasks are seldom required in small communities with but a few active users. Users from other Wikipedias hoped for his knowledge of Buryat language, but after the election he has done nothing to justify those hopes. bxr-wikipedia proposed to closing in March. One of the users, Jargal, who described himself as Buryat linguist, nominated to Adminship. He done many good things for language, in social networks, Internet and so on (in the past he also edited bxr-wikipedia from other account). But after the election he just gone from project. bxr-wikipedia has no community, just some users from other Wikipedias, who want to help this Wikipedia. We have repeatedly asked Jargal to increase his activity (активность), but absolutely ineffectively. Native speaker is a rarity for project. It was a kind of "election with credibility". I see that Jargal only has temporary admin rights, and these will last until November. I'd like to nominate myself for the adminship on Fijian Hindi Wikipedia. The community is very small and have very few active members. Project doesn't have many important MediaWiki pages, users utility gadgets, and speedy deletion requests remain unheard for shockingly six months. This type of idleness cannot attract new users.
Question to reviewing steward: Can I be a permanent? There's too much inactivity (recent changes is a good illustration) so I don't expect anyone to !vote for my request. What could possibly a solution to it?--Bill william compton (talk) 14:22, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

Hello Bill. Sure, we just need to wait at least one week to check if there is some comments on this discussion. As fore the permanent status, we prefer not to grant it to new sysops on projects without community because it ends to leave the project with tons of inactive sysops. We would generally only look to give adminship to a community where a person has activity, rather than to fill a gap in adminship.
