Wanna tell you that the user opposed after very much later of the usual time for voting, moreover she has personal issues with me. Did you checked her contributions to the wiki, she 's only there to revert others. Neither there's a community nor she gonna contribute to develop the wiki, her intention is just to not let others do also. Her Punjabi is also too poor while I'm native a Punjabi. There's no active user, the wiki really needs an admin to remove useless content, wikipedia-like articles, spam, vandalism etc.. FYI, the bureaucrats are responsible for the giving of sysop rights in German Wikipedia, and they also may decide in an election like this with just one vote difference between 3 candidates, who gets the rights and who doesn't. So this can't replace a bureaucrat decision and I entered an objection against the decision. I hope there will be a decision of the local bureaucrats soon. I'm very astonished (and so are the local bureaucrats) that there are given sysoprights here at Meta Wiki for users of the German Wikipedia which should be known here to every steward to have local bureaucrats. Even more, this here is no section for giving sysop rights, but for "removal of access", as the section says. --– Geitost ^diskusjon 14:14, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

I think that Mentifisto assumed that, given an outgoing arbitrator specifically requested the sysop of the new members in this way, this was for some reason standard procedure. There was no intent to overrule the local 'crats. We can probably remove them and let the local 'crats handle this if they request it so that it is logged locally and it's an issue. I think it's not necessary to remove the rights - just to give them the rights again locally. But for the future it would be good if stewards don't grant sysop rights on wikis with active bureaucrats. I was given sysop access on yi wiki in 2008, to help fix a problem with RTL layout. I have not used it since, and I don't see a reason to keep this permission.

This request is for granting transwiki import rights to one more user સમકિત on gu.wiki. Community consensus is taken for this and he has received overwhelming response. Currently only 2 admins (as there are only 2 active) and one more user have these rights and Sam.ldite is actively engaged in creating templates. With import rights, he will be better able to do this by importing templates that we use mostly from the en.wiki.--Dhaval^Talk 23:38, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
