Please remove my sysop access from nl.wikipedia. Twelve days ago I posted a similar request, but withdrew it because some collegues on nl-wiki convinced me to. Since then, the negativity on nl-wiki has not been removed as much as I hoped for and there is still too much distrust. That does not feel good and makes me sad. In addition since last summer my job has become really busy with only little time (compared to before) to spend on nl-wikipedia. By this I feel that I have become too distant to take the responsabilities I think I have to or want to take on nl-wiki. On the other hand an incompetent arbcom does not see the importance of trust and continues to treat me (and other admins aiming neutrality and high quality article standards) in a biased unfair way and hence my good name has become damaged. As a result I fail to feel any more responsibility in this unsafe environment to continue volunteering responsibly without proper protection. There is life beyond wiki, so thanks for your efforts. On the page for candidatures for administrator-status on lb-wikipedia User:Pecalux informed the local community on 28th October 2013 of his wish to have no longer administrator status on lb-wikipedia. He stated that he could no longer identify himself with other administrators and therefor he would prefer to 'throw in the towel' concerning his administrator-status. Moreover he changed with this edit his userpage that way that he deleted there the reference to his administrator-status. So consequently I guess nothing prevents to take the logical consequence of removing the sysop flag from lb:user:Pecalux. On the Swedish Wikipedia all admins/bureaucrats/CU/OS are elected for one year at a time, see the policy document. There exists a possibility to be reelected, but some users choose not to apply for another period. Sorry, there is no majority either for one or the other possibility. Because the majority of the 200+ participants of the 2011-voting doesn't participate. And even in the discussion itself (btw... since no-one linked it yet: here it is) I don't see a majority stating that Stepro should keep his sysop-rights until the end of the election. Even he himself wrote: "Ansonsten ist mir die Einsortierung relativ egal. " (Anyways, for me the sorting [of the candidature (either new or reelection] doesn't matter.) So it would be the cleanest if Stepro gets his sysop rights revoked until the election participants vote for him as a renewed sysop. --Odeesi (talk) 21:02, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Well, the issue is Meta can't decide on your behalf which of two competing main readings the De.WP community has tabled should apply. However, the obvious way forward, it strikes me, is for Stepro to agree not to use the tools - at least not for potentially controversial actions - for the rest of the ongoing procedure and for this request to be postponed pending the community's final decision on either the actual vote or the deliberation whether it was started in time (or not). I don't know whether It's right to comment here. But still commenting. As I know in commons, testwiki, wikidata, fawiki and testwikidata you have local bureaucrats. So I think you could ask a local crat rather than asking a steward. Cause as I knew stewards don't do this kind of action if there's local crat. I may be wrong. Hakka Wikipedia has had a very small community and no active admin in the last few months, as a result of which many new users are not receiving any help or feedback on how to edit there and many of them have become disheartened now and have become inactive for many weeks now. (In contrast, Cantonese Wikipedia has 11 admins and Minnan Wikipedia has 8 admins.)

Hereby I request that User:Anson2812 be granted temporary admin status to help revive that wikipedia language edition, revert vandalism (for example: this edit), and help out new editors on how to properly create and edit articles there. He was the one who translated the interface messages into Hakka Chinese characters and helped renovate the Main Page of Hakka Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is often occasionally blocked on Mainland China and when this occurs, all Wikipedia editions including Hakka Wikipedia are also blocked for certain time periods. The current admin (User:Anson2812) is based in Mainland China, hence there will be times when he would have difficulty accessing Wikipedia to review new edits.

User:Mnemonic kek is a Malaysian Hakka and would be unaffected by the Great Firewall of China. For the above reasons, I humbly request that User:Mnemonic kek be granted temporary admin status to help revive that wikipedia language edition, revert vandalism and help out new editors on how to properly edit articles there. He was the one who created 80-90% of the current Hakka Chinese character articles of Hakka Wikipedia.

(I am well aware of the existence of the Small Wiki Monitoring Team in reverting vandalism. However on Hakka Wikipedia the 'vandalism' often comes in the form of inserrting mandarin chinese character articles/content without the use of any Hakka grammar and such edits typically go unnoticed. Such edits will increase in frequency as time passes). A native Hakka speaker will be able to both identify and rectify the problem in a more timely manner than non-native speakers.)

Yeah, I think this can go ahead. Putting the incubator question aside, the vote looks pretty much and solid in line with what I have seen while looking over the related Vi.WP patterns lately, too, and nothing but indications of consensus have turned up since the 12th on Vi.Voy itself. I gave 3 months temporary adminship based on the vote you linked. There are no strict rules about the requirements for when to give temporary and when to give permanent adminship, but generally a high number of supports from established users would be nice.
