There are some discussions on the request whether it is temporary or permanent adminship. I've used google translator but failed to understand the clear context. Those who have clearly mentioned their support for 3 months temp adminship are 3 in number. Other 4(+1=5) have have clearly mentioned their support for permanent adminship. Others have just supported the proposal, whatever its duration might be. In this way, We do have enough support to grant him a permanent adminship. I can confirm that it is 250 edits, not including logged actions. Our policy regarding moderator inactivity can be found here. Wikiklaas is a highly regarded and appreciated admin, but sadly, he seems to have vanished from the project entirely. @MBisanz: it is about the edit count and not the logged actions. As a local crat the community kinda expects me to know such things ;). And like IJzeren Jan says. Proposal was put forward by existing SysOp and voting for "Permanent SysOp" in Local Gujarati Wiki Community was opened just yesterday and being small community, people take time to vote. I feel voting was closed prematurely. New user right and user group

Hello! We would like to have new user right and user group added to the etwiki local configuration. The right would be called "tooluse" and the group would be called "Toolusers". Please give the "tooluse" right to Administrators user group and to the new "Toolusers" user group. Then please create rights for administrators to add/remove registered users to/from the "Toolusers" user group.

The reason behind the change is to allow local administrators grant users access to certain tools based on trust. I am aware that some other wikis have used autopatrol right for that same purpose. But autopatrol right has functions in wiki software (marking pages as patrolled) and we would prefer those functions not being activated, if possible.
