Pxos@fiwikiversity

I have been a temporary administrator at the Finnish Wikiversity for six months (3 + 3) in 2016 per this discussion. (Cf. My user page here & the last extension) I did not have the time nor inspiration to extend my adminship after two consecutive "3-month-tours of duty". Now it seems that some pages need to be imported to Versity from Wikipedia, and only sysops can import pages. I would like to get temporary admin rights for another three months despite the gap. There is now only one administrator in the project, and he is clearly inactive and does not respond. --Pxos (talk) 09:27, 6 May 2017 (UTC)

Please make a local announcement and link it here. --Pmlineditor (t · c · l) 19:44, 8 May 2017 (UTC)

Just a couple of minutes left to... withdraw the request. It seems importing pages to Versity is not in fashion right now, and therefore it is unlikely that I should be needing any advanced rights at present. --Pxos (talk) 20:29, 16 May 2017 (UTC)

CheckUser access

MZaplotnik and Romanm @sl.wikipedia

The community of sl.wikipedia has voted two users, MZaplotnik and Romanm, long time administrators, for the CheckUser status. They both has agreed with nomination and has got 33 votes of support in a local poll which has lasted for 1 month. Therefore I request a steward to enable CheckUser options. Hiǃ According to the fifth paragraph of “The regulations for electing administrators and bureaucrats” in the Azerbaijani Wikipedia, “the voting to acquire the status of an administrator or a bureaucrat can only be implemented following the general agreement of administrators.” But, not all the administrators currently operating in AzWiki voted for depriving the user of the status in the discussion launched by the user Cekli (see). The user Wertuose expressed his disagreement considering the reasons unjustified (I will write about it in more detail below), while some administrators didn’t participate in the voting at all. Nevertheless, the user Cekli started a new illegitimate voting on deprivation of the status finishing the discussion that he had launched. According to “The regulations for electing administrators and bureaucrats” a user applying to deprive an administrator of his/her status has to justify his/her demand in accordance with Wikipedia regulations. Otherwise, the demand related to deprivation of the status can be considered as revenge. The only reason that the user Cekli provided in order to deprive the administrator of the status, was the alleged claim about creating articles “serving Armenian interests”. However, I think that creating articles by users mustn’t serve as a basis for depriving them of their statuses. Because, Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia. --Sefer azeri (talk) 05:55, 3 May 2017 (UTC)

User Xoser@diq.wikipedia

Local discussion on diq wiki.

  1. This user is not continuously active 2017, 2014 and 2010.
  2. This user does nothing about stewardship of Zazaki Wikipedia.
  3. There are three active users on Zazaki Wikipedia. Two of them are already sysops and Zazaki Wikipedia is a small wikipedia, consisted by only three users, it doesn't need another sysop, three sysops are unnecessary.
  4. Asmen and Mirzali are two admins of Zazaki Wikipedia. Zazaki wikipedia is very small, so it doesn't need another admin. It's redundant to have another sysop on this small wiki. Vuzorg (talk) 16:39, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
On hold as long as the voting/discussion is continuing there, also using sock puppets is not allowed in voting, this also applies for all admins. Stryn (talk) 16:34, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
Don't continue the discussion on this page. Preferred places to discuss are the diq.wikipedia's voting page, or if you want to discuss with the stewards about this request please use the Stewards' noticeboard. Stryn (talk) 11:31, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
I, Asmen and Mirzali, we don't use sock puppets, you can check all our contributions, even Asmen and Mirzali are sysops, they don't need to use sock puppets. A third sysop is superfluous for Zazaki Wikipedia, as I said it's a very small wikipedia. But if you look at Kirmanciye's and Neribij's contribution past, you will see that they came local discussion only for voting and they may be sock puppets of Xoser. Their contributions are not continuously same as Xoser's contribution past. Vuzorg (talk) 14:10, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
I'm not a sock puppet of anyone (But I'm not sure about Vuzorg). I'm active in Zazaki Wikipedia and Turkish wikipedia too. Mirzali want using wikipedia as his personal blog. He was prevented many people in wikipedia zazaki without cause. Therefore he taken from the sysop, three-four years ago. I and many people have been away from wikipedia, sometimes, because of Mirzali's (and Mirzali's team) interventions and inhibitions. Xoser is a balance for everyone can write on wikipedia and he is a fair sysop in my opinion. Neribij (talk) 05:21, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Can you prove it? Your contribution past is same as Xoser's and Kirmaciye's. And all your votes are against to removal of Xoser's sysop access. You, Kirmanciye and Xoser all your actions are was on 2014 and 2017. Is this a just a similarity? I dont think so.
  1. You are attacking to Mirzali by your words.
  2. What's Mirzali's team? Can you verify your claims?
The problem is that, a third sysop is needless to Zazaki Wikipedia. It's a small wikipedia, it's not like English or German Wikipedia. There are only three permanent active users on Zazaki Wikipedia. And Xoser was not active between 2014 and 2017, 3 years, and he does nothing for Zazaki Wikipedia. We don't need him, already there are two sysops on Zazaki Wikipedia. Vuzorg (talk) 14:51, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Will someone deal with this Xoser problem? There are 2 permanent active users on Zazaki Wikipedia (two admins Asmen, Mirzali and I). Two admins of Zazaki Wikipedia and I, we agreed on that Xoser is needless as a sysop. We demanded removal of his sysop access from: [1], [2],[3]. Vuzorg (talk) 20:54, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
I’m a founder of the Zazaki Wikipedia page. I don't have another account and I don't use "sockpuppets" either. As it is, there are only 3-4 more active users on Zazaki Wikipedia. But Zazaki Wikipedia has old and constant users who have a lot of contributions. Vuzorg changes many articles of other users, just because he does not like the style (For example:1 2). For this reason, many people left wikipedia. If this vandalism of his continues, Wikipedia will become the blog of 2-3 people alone. In local discussion, some new and passive users such as Otrox62 and Memedaga only have 20-40 contributors. Even so, there isn't enough "support" vote. Xoser (talk) 21:27, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
So what if you are a founder of Zazaki Wikipedia? What will change if you don't do your sysop duties? On local discussion Xoser used sock puppets named as Kirmanciye, Azadi, Neribij and Asmen34 (he refers to sysop Asmen here).

Look at to our contribution's past. Our contributions are permanent:

  1. My contribution past
  2. Mirzali's contributions past (sysop) and
  3. Asmen's contribution past (sysop)

And look at to Xoser and his sock puppet's Kirmanciye, Azadi, Neribij, Asmen34 contributions:

  1. Xoser's contribution past 2017-2014
  2. Xoser's sock puppet Neribij's contribution past 2017-2014
  3. Xoser's sock puppet Kirmanciye's contribution past 2017-2014
  4. Xoser's sock puppet Asmen34's contribution past 2017

This is local discussion on Zazaki Wikipeida. As you see Xoser used his 4 sock puppets for vote against removal of his sysop acces.

There are only 3 regular active users on Zazaki Wikipedia, I, Mirzali (sysop) and Asmen (sysop). And we agreed on removal of Xoser's sysop access, because he uses sock puppets and he manipulates local discussion by this way and he is not an active user and he does nothing about sysopship of Zazaki Wikipedia.

And Xoser had automatically been desysopped due to the rules. A steweard made him a sysop again only for his demand. This is not fair. Vuzorg (talk) 08:13, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

Yes, look at the contribution frequence and also the times these guys have been active.. --asmên 14:42, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

Unfortunately User:Mirzali still needs to learn much about principles of Wiki-projects (en:Wikipedia:Civility , en:Wikipedia:Assume good faith etc.) He has vandalized user's page. Adminship doesn't give users to abuse Wiki-policies. I think, for the balance on diq.wikipedia it's very important that Xoser's adminship continues. Cheers!--Gomada (talk) 19:56, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

Unlike me, your problem is that you have an allergy to a Zaza like me. Every time you get out of the background and try to wipe me out. Why do you have that hatred and all this rage in you? Is it because I do not share your religious values and political views? Just give it to me! If there is anyone else interested in me, I am a convinced atheist. In addition, I am not politically active. I am neither a Turk nor a Kurd. So I have nothing to do with pathological ideologies such as religion and nationalism. So at last give me rest with your intrigues, slander and lies. I'm tired of it now. -- Mirzali (talk) 08:32, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
The problem is not Mirzali or Mirzali's actions and the balance of diq.wikipedia is not based on Xoser.

As I said, Xoser was not active for 3 years. He came up with that he is ill. How a person can be ill for 3 years? He was inactive between 2014-2017, he made nothing for Zazaki Wikipedia in this period, he did not made even a tiny contribution for Zazaki Wikipedia. Xoser had automatically been desysopped due to the rule of 2 years of inactivity. But a steward made him sysop again. This is not fair. When we started a local discussion on Zazaki Wikipedia Xoser came out suddenly. The problem is that, Xoser or another, a third sysop is needless for Zazaki Wikipedia.

And Gomada is a sysop of Kurdish Wikipedia, he/she is not from Zazaki Wikipedia. And he/she attacks Zazaki Wikipedia's sysop Mirzali and he/she interferes in Zazaki Wikipedia's own problem. This is Gomada's user page on Kurdish Wikipedia Vuzorg (talk) 21:36, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

The problem is some guys cannot act political neutral and try to politicize with the language and alphabet. We as Wikipedia sysops have to be political neutral and should not try to bring Turkish, Islamic or Kurdish influence from outside especially by persons who don't have language proficiency. --asmên 21:53, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

You're free to consider yourself whatever you want, but that doesn't change the reality ;) read en:Zazas. That's why it's important to have a balance on diq.wikipedia. Otherwise, you will keep to block users who doesn't accept your point of view on diq.wiki, as you did in the past. (see 1, 2) Wikipedia belongs everyone who wants to build it up!--Gomada (talk) 09:47, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

I think that sysop of Kurdish Wikipedia Gomada (who inteferes Zazaki Wikipedia's own problem and who attacking Zazaki Wikipedia's sysops) does not understand the problem. Again I say, Xoser had automatically been desysopped due to the rule of 2 years of inactivity. But a steward made him sysop again. This is unfair. Xoser did not made even a tiny contribution to Zazaki Wikipedia for 3 years (2014-2017). So as members of Zazaki Wikipedia, we demand removal of his sysop access.

And this is Gomada's destruction on Zazas article in English Wikipedia. You can see that Gomada changed all 'Zaza' words as Kurdish. As I said Gomada is sysop of Kurdish Wikipedia and he does not have right to interfere Zazaki Wikipedia's own problem. Vuzorg (talk) 10:51, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

Xoser had automatically been desysopped due to the rule of 2 years of inactivity and this is evidence. As Melos says Xoser met the AAR inactivity criteria. But a steward made him sysop again, only for his demand. This is unfair. If so, all members can demand this from stewards. When we started local discussion on Zazaki Wikipedia, he came out after 3 years of inactivity. He did nothing for Zazaki Wikipedia for 3 years. The problem is that Xoser did nothing for Zazaki Wikipedia but he does not want to be desysopped too.Vuzorg (talk) 10:09, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

  1. Xoser is racist against Armenian people. He says this page is an Armenian propaganda and he deleted the Armenian word from the article, he says 'are you Armenian' to sysop Asmen and he again deletes the Armenian word from article, he says all you are Armenian. A sysop must be respectful and tolerant to all people, all nations. Xoser is not enoughly respectful. Vuzorg (talk) 15:17, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
It is unfortunately true that Xoser yesterday made Armenophobic comments against me just with the reason I added with historical correctness that the area called today Northern Kurdistan is historically a part of Western Armenia. His comments without any attest were "this is an Armenian propaganda" (like Turkish nationalist use this kind of arguments against Kurdish patriots) and "Have you become Armenian now?!!". He tries to insult and discredit me but he should aware of the political incorrectness of his arguments as a sysop and that to his colleague! His friends claimed with Xoser the preservation of political balance in Zazaki Wikipedia. But a person with Armenophobic ressentiments and as a Kurdish patriot cannot handle objective and his place as sysop is out of place. User:Asmen 09:45, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
Not done, clearly not consensus to remove admin rights per the local discussion. Stryn (talk) 18:31, 14 May 2017 (UTC)

We demonstrated that all these accounts came only for vote in favor of Xoser, from different wikipedias too. How can this be ignored? Because of this there is an ostensibly consensus not to remove admin rights. You should take cognizance of this fact. We did not call our friends from different wikipedias, if you want this we also can call our friends for voting and we can create a consensus about removal of Xoser's sysop. Temporary permissions (expired and rejected requests only)

Ibrahim Ben Khalifa@arwikibooks

I'm an IT teacher from Tunisia. I am in the process of completing an education project about adding an article in the ar.Wikibooks. The biggest obstacle that I face is the inability to add accounts for my pupils, beaucause of using a single IP adress in the classroom wich is 41.231.148.237 where we can not create more than six accounts. I request the permission to give me the permission of account creator to be able to establish the number of 40 account at least in this wiki (with the knowledge that IP adress, which I use is 41.231.148.237 as the project runs from 24 / 01/2017 to the end of April 2017); of course after reviewing the pedagogical project details that you will allow. With thanks for the assistance. (your remarks) Ibrahim Ben Khalifa (talk) 14:49, 24 January 2017 (UTC)

Done Granted for 3 months to expire on 2017-04-31. Granted for a week, please let us know if you need this right any longer. Could you please notify the arwikibooks community somewhere and create the accounts with some sort of identifiable pattern? Note you will have to create the accounts while logged in using ar:b:Special:CreateAccount. Savhñ 20:09, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
Adjusting time per the request. Please remember to notify the community. Savhñ 20:22, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
31 of April = 1st of May. Noting it concerns accountcreator rights. Savhñ 01:10, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

Bobbyshabangu@ss.wikipedia

I want to be an administrator on the SiSwati Wikipedia. I want to have have access to protected pages such as the landing page so that I can organize, clean and rename some of the items since SiSwati is my mother tongue and I have been contributing to this wiki for some time now. Bobbyshabangu (talk) 02:28, 1 February 2017 (UTC)

Please make a local request to allow for possible community input. Savhñ 10:05, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
We now have a request at ss:Wikipedia:Likhefi_leinthanethi#Administrator. On hold until 9 February, I guess? ;-) --MF-W 14:05, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

Per local rule (Nominalizarea se face în timp de 15 zile), should be on hold until 12 February. Stryn (talk) 14:09, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
Actually 12 February, 22:27 (UTC), to be more precise. Then, and only then, would have passed the recommended 15 days. Wintereu 13:38, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

Elvonudinium@bxrwikipedia

I would like to re-apply for adminship on Buryat Wikipedia. Since the community on the site is very limited, I request the longest period possible. I had been a sysop on the website since February 2014 until my rights expired recently. I usually make consistent contributions and when it is not possible do general upkeep and maintenance.--Elvonudinium (talk) 11:54, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
