Hi, I was active in this project since it was in Incubator in September 2011, then as the wiki was opened in June 2013 I was elected by the local community to be an admin with a temporary status, our later request to get the definitive status was rejected as the wiki was thought to be too small as for its contributors. In the last months some new contributors arrived and we have an increase of contribution and, obviously, also an increase of work for sysop. Tn4196 is already a temporary sysop (until december 2019). Last month I was elected administrator and I obtained a permanent flag. The user has been a temp admin there for six years now, and there are other permanent admins on the project. I think it is worth remembering why we assign temporary rights: to avoid small-wiki admins being able to take over their project. importer for Ankry@oldwikisource

I know that the above discussion is quite fresh, but I am creating this request in advance to refer to it elsewhere.
I ask for the importer right for longer period (at least 3 months, if they cannot be granted permanently) as there are various repeated needs for massive import of texts to oldwikisource from various wikis. Mainly related to difference in wiki copyright rules; some examples of such needs listed in the above-mentioned discussion. Some of the imports are time consuming, some require interproject coordination, they need time. Doing the imports by admins is not possible for some wikis and a pain if massive import is needed. I've been an administrator of this project since June 2016 on a temporary base, because we only have a small community who is contributing infrequently. I think, there should be at least one local sysop to do the job of observing and blocking vandalism and SPAM.

In addition to my contributions to keep this project alive, I would like to continue with importing, maintaining and updating scripts used by the translation editor, an activity that requires administrator rights too.
