Comment - the vote looks a bit suspicious too me. There was a support from Special:CentralAuth/Updateshark312 in their first and only global edit so far, that account was registered earlier today. Note the similarity in username between that supporter and the user requesting adminship. There was also w:szy:Special:Diff/119992 from Mecytan in their first edit on the wiki, and users `Mkpn` and `Lamtou` both supported in their third edits on the wiki, and while those accounts are not brand new, they are still fairly inactive. Inari Sami is a small language with about 450 speakers and just a handful of Wikipedia editors. All main contributors to the Inari Sami Wikipedia have cast their vote. Not done This is not an actionable request, as the applicant has <25 support votes, and as such, they do not meet CU policy-imposed requirements to be promoted to a checkuser.

In addition to that, it's important to note this RfP runs for more than 90 days as of now. The stewards are not convinced that such long-running RfP can be used to demonstrate existing consensus, as it runs for way longer than usual both on en.wikibooks and on other projects (and thus far longer than a reasonable voter would expect).

The stewards would like to recommend future elections to have an "ending by" date defined in advance. In my opinion, an ending date is a critical attribute for any election to be considered fair.

I do a lot of cross wiki work, however, with me becoming a sysop on the English Wikivoyage on Friday (Saturday in my timezone), I do not have the time to be a sysop on three WMF projects, especially when I'm the only contributor to na.wiktionary. I've also no longer found it enjoyable being a sysop on na.wikt, and I think me giving up on sysop tools are for the better. So I can contribute to WMF projects that have more people. Hello, I don't know if I am making this request on the correct page, but I came here to request the global removal of DARIO SEVERI's administrator status for the following reasons:

In the Wikinews project, the user has committed an abuse of tools, gross and contumacious, this shows that he is not at all prepared to be an administrator of this project, let alone prepared to be a global administrator.

I have gathered here the parts of the user's removal request that I believe are the most important:

Desconhecimento de políticas básicas e essenciais do projeto, nomeadamente as que dizem respeito à publicação apenas de conteúdo disponível em licença livre, como pode ser visto aqui. Além de demonstrar não conhecer as políticas, reverteu indevidamente as marcações de VDA já colocadas [3] [4], e para coroar ainda me bloqueou de modo a impedir que o conteúdo em VDA fosse eliminado do projeto.--DarwIn (discussão) 17h27min de 22 de julho de 2021 (UTC)

I will try to summarize the facts of what happened on Wikinews.

On June 30th of last year, to make it easier to check which articles on other journalistic sites (outside the Wikimedia Foundation) were allowed to copy or translate, this list was created [7]. These sites mentioned that it was allowed to copy their news. I didn't participate in creating it. With this practically all editors created on Wikinews (pt) news using it, myself included.

On July 22, 2021, the editor DarwIn who practically never edited on Wikinews without any warning put in one of the pages I created the VDA warning, saying that I could be blocked. I trusting the existing list I removed the warning from the page [8] and .

I put on his discussion page that the license to copy was valid and please come talk to me about it [9], and I removed the warning on the page he had placed. DarwIn, with no interest in dialogue, put the VDA warning in another page [10]. To prevent it from adding warnings without dialog I blocked it for two hours but after new editors came to discuss I removed the block which lasted 20 minutes.

Due to these my actions are asking for my removal as sysop on Wikinews (pt) where I am one of the sysops.

I have as Global sysop almost 130,000 edits in 600 different projects [11]. My edits in these projects didn't do anything wrong, they're correct edits and so I don't see why they're asking for my removal as global sysop. What I have to add it is the person who open here this request is blocked indefinitely on Wikipedia (pt) (please see [12]). He has been harassing me constantly on Wikinews. Answering to what the person known as "DARIO SEVERI" wrote above: 1) There is no "dialogue" option when what is at stake are blatant copyvios remaining or not in the Wikimedia projects, as was clearly stated in the presented deletion rationale; 2) the fact that this person assumes they were blindly following some random list written by whoever without any critical thought about it's value clearly shows they do not understand the free licencing nuclear principles of the Wikimedia projects; 3) this is the copyvio infractor stating in my talk page that CC BY-ND 3.0 is a valid license in Wikimedia; 4) nevertheless, and despite the shameless lies stated above by the person in question, alleging I had "no interest in dialogue" I took the time to explain to DARIO SEVERI that such license was incompatible with the one used in Wikinews; 5) as an answer, the copyvio infractor not only continued reverting the copyvio marks, but went to abuse their sysop flag and blocked me after a second newspiece was marked as copyvio.
Not knowing the most basic rules of the Wikimedia projects, abusing their sysop flag to keep by force the copyvios they created, and shamelessly lying in this board claiming there was no communication when there was, clearly show that giving global sysop access to this person was a mistake, and that such privileges should be revoked ASAP to avoid damage to our projects.--- Darwin Ahoy! 19:13, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
