This user is a Bureaucrat in Persian Wikipedia and admin in some other Persian Wikis, but is not active in Persian Wikibooks. It seems that the reason for the opposing vote is that I'd recently deleted some untranslated notices sent by MediaWiki message delivery bot from the Village pump. I took a look at the discussion with the help of Google Translate as I can't read Farsi. The oppose vote by Mardetanha translates to what the requestor said above. The rest of the users support Doostdar's nomination so it's a 4-1 vote (80% support). @Niyumard, while supporting mentions (again, this is all via Google Translate) that he "does not agree with his practice to use the Desk politically", with @4nn1l2 mentioning later that they removed some threads from that page because of that. Doostdar is a well-meaning user who actively contributes to the project and has maintained the project running (the only permanent admin there with about 300 edits actually does not contribute to that project regularly). However, the user has posted some weird comments to the Village Pump of the project such as a plea to set free a political prisoner who is also a poet! We asked them to stop doing that and I removed most of the unrelated topics from the Village Pump (birthday anniversary of Reza Shah, nostalgia about 1980s and 1990s Iranian movies, privacy regarding photos on the internet, etc.) They also post a lot of congratulation messages for occasions and festivals such as Nowruz, Yalda night, Sadeh, etc to the Village Pump which I believe is unnecessary, but let's not be stringent regarding these congratulations messages. Hi, I wish to request Adminship on Pali Wikipedia. Currently, Pali Wikipedia lacks any administrator and at some point of time has been heavily vandalised by a globally blocked socks of User:Indrayogya. Take this sock's edits for example (pi:विसेस:Contributions/Hardhrol). Note that they created articles on the various castes found in India, zero references, and their edit summaries use profane Indian slurs while referring to those community. I moved to Pali WP only today, but I've over 4.5k contributions on English WP which one could use to judge my ability to administer a Wikimedia project. For self-disclosure, I do note that I only have a very basic understanding of Pali, and I don't intend to create articles or expand the Wikipedia, but such understanding is enough to identify vandalism and to protect it from such vandalism and perform otherwise regular administrative tasks like page protection, deletion, etc. Thanks! —‍CX Zoom (A/अ/অ) (let's talk|contribs) 14:02, 9 March 2022 (UTC)

As I'm reading the translation, it says "Not only did I object to the interface, but the administrator had to object as well." That seems like opposition to both for me. There is a required 75% support rate for the applications too per the policy page. Slovak Wikipedia has not had bureaucrats since last spring, so I would like for local rights to return (I will try to motivate other administrators to eventually apply). The votes should be valid according to sk:Wikipédia:Pravidlá/Pravidlo o správcoch. I know about it. On the other hand, skwiki had bureaucrats relatively recently and in this case it was a community-wide vote according to the rules, not just a "discussion". I already work on skwiki and cswiki as an administrator, so I have some experience. Of course, I intend to respect the final decision of the stewards. The es.wikipedia policy for sysops (and bureaucrats), which can be found here [3] (the relevant part being this one) indicates that sysops must conduct at least 50 administrative actions (i.e., those that can only be conducted by sysops) in a 2-year period in order to maintain their flags. The aforementioned user has not conducted the 50 required administrative actions during the 01-03-2020 to 01-03-2022 period, and thus the flags ought to be removed as dictated by the policy.
