Kristen R. Ghodsee is Chair and Professor of Russian and East European Studies at the University of Pennsylvania and a member of the Graduate Group of Anthropology. She is the author of 12 books, most recently: Everyday Utopia: What 2000 Years of Bold Experiments Can Teach Us About the Good Life.
