I am proud to share with you our first contribution to Cell4Chem project. In this work we investigated the pH effect in xylose mixed-culture fermentation to enhance the production of butyric and lactic acids, which are medium-chain fatty acid precursors. Our findings shed light on the intricate relationship between these acids and highlight how pH modifications influence xylose consumption and product distribution.
