Size and weight guide – UK letters and parcels

Tubes	Length of the item plus twice the diameter must be less than 104cm, with the greatest dimension less than 90cm.

Please note: the maximum weight limit for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm® items is 20kg, and for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am® it’s 2kg.

Letter - Greetings cards, personal letters, postcards, bills
Large letter - A4 documents, certificates, magazines, CD or DVD in cased, some large greeting cards
Small parcel - Shoes, portable speakers, mobile phones
Medium parcel - Gifts, shoes, heavy or bulky items

These rough guidelines below can help if you’re estimating the weight of your item, but to know the accurate weight, we recommend taking your item to the Post Office.
