Rebuild (or upgrade the kernel on) mint.language.eqiad1.wikimedia.cloud
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

An upstream kernel bug[0] means that this VM is in danger of data corruption. The latest bookworm image on Horizon contains a fix, so the easiest thing (for me) is to delete and rebuild the existing VM.

If that proves difficult because you have work invested in the existing VM let me know and I can try a kernel upgrade. A rebuild is definitely the preferred option, though!

Event Timeline

Actually, on second thought... your VM may just update itself via unattended upgrades. So the first thing to try is just reboot it, run 'uname -r' and see if you've been bumped up to -15.

Rebooted. and

$ uname -r
6.1.0-15-cloud-amd64

This is ok, right?

We are good!
