Related work completed this week:

• Reviewed and provided feedback on Data Modeling Guidelines draft

The draft at https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Triciaburmeister/Sandbox/Data_platform/Collect_data is ready for review; we have a synchronous review session scheduled for May 21, but will likely discuss the page a bit before that in a review session today for the "Publish data" landing page.

One thing to note: I think that if the Metrics Platform documentation and related instrumentation tools are ready for user consumption, we potentially don't need this landing page at all, and the main Data Platform portal page could just link directly to the Metrics Platform. Some content that's in the Event Platform docs collection would likely need to be moved, however, and then we'd still need a way to link people to Matomo (or maybe that doesn't matter that much?). To be discussed!

Met with DPE team to get feedback on https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Triciaburmeister/Sandbox/Data_platform/Publish_data, and heavily revised that page. Its content now covers "Collect data" links, so it may actually eliminate the need for this "Collect data" page to exist at all.

DPE team feedback session happened 5/21. Working on integrating the feedback received into the "Publish data" landing page, and aligning the group on a decision about whether this page needs to exist.
