Born in 1986 in Switzerland. 2010 BA of Photography from ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste) and Marmara University Istanbul. 2013 BA Video from HSLU (Hochschule Luzern - Design & Kunst). Since 2013 works as independent filmmaker. Her short films have screened at festivals such as Locarno, IDFA, Hot Docs, Tampere and Cannes' Critics Week. Both her shorts ON SOLID GROUND as well as LA GRAVIDITÉ have been awarded with the Swiss Film Award. The documentary LES NOUVELLES ÈVES (realised in co-direction in a collective), winning project of the CH-Dokfilmwettbewerb, was released in Swiss cinemas in 2021.
