Amrita Rao reveals she received marriage proposals from foreigners after 'Vivaah': 'Got letters from Canada and the US'

In a recent interaction on Rajshree Productions’ YouTube channel, Amrita discussed the significant impact on her personal life following the immense success of the film 'Vivah.' She recalled receiving numerous letters and wedding proposals from foreigners in the US and Canada, with many admirers even sending pictures of their homes and family members.

In an earlier interview with Bollywood Bubble, Amrita revealed that she had rejected big-budget films in her younger years due to discomfort with certain bold kissing scenes in the plotline. The actress admitted that she turned down many films and expressed that she wished someone had helped her understand the requirements better.

In an old interview with The Times of India, the actress reflected on the successes she has achieved throughout her career since her debut. Despite being an outsider, she quickly rose to fame within a few years. She also compared her career graph to that of later newcomers, expressing that none of them could achieve the same level of acceptance from the audience as she did.
