Bobby Deol's iconic Bollywood thriller 'Gupt: The Hidden Truth' has completed 27 years today and the actor along with his co-star Manisha Koirala expressed their gratitude for the endless love it continues to receive from fans across the country.
Directed by Rajiv Rai, 'Gupt' premiered in 1997 and is celebrated for its suspenseful plot and stellar performances by its lead actors Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala, and Kajol, and its gripping storyline, which kept audiences on the edge of their seats.
The film's mystery and dramatic twists have earned it a place among the most acclaimed thrillers in Bollywood history.
Marking this milestone, Bobby took to Instagram to share his appreciation for the film and its enduring legacy. Posting a clip from 'Gupt,' Bobby reminisced about his role as Sahil Sinha and wrote, "27 years ago doesn't feel too far along when the love I've received has been endless."
Manisha, who played Bobby's best friend Sheetal Choudhry in the film, also joined in the celebration. She re-shared some celebration posts from fan pages, expressing her gratitude and pride in being part of such a critically acclaimed movie.
On the work front, Bobby Deol was seen in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial 'Animal,' also starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri. He is currently working on multiple projects across different languages including Suriya starrer Kanguva and has begun shooting for Anurag Kashyap’s next film with Sanya Malhotra. Manisha Koirala, on the other hand, made her stunning comeback in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's debut web series 'Heeramandi'.
