Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh's Cirkus to have a Christmas release; to hit the theatres on THIS date

Ranveer Singh will soon be seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’. The actor will be seen in a completely different avatar in the comedy-drama. While we know that the film will be having a Christmas release, buzz is that the film will be releasing on 23rd December, 2022 coinciding with Christmas Eve.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers are planning to release the trailer in the first week of December.Reportedly, the team is planning a grand launch for the trailer and there will be a big build-up leading to the trailer unveil. The trailer launch will be followed by the launch of two big songs, like every Rohit Shetty film and will finally have a worldwide theatrical release on December 23.

Apart from Ranveer, the film also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma. The film is reportedly based on the iconic 1982 film Angoor, starring Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma. Ranveer will be essaying a double role for the first time. The film also marks Ranveer and Rohit’s third collaboration after Simmba and Sooryavanshi.
Meanwhile Ranveer Singh has finished shooting forr Cirkus. Earlier, this week, the actor shared an update of of the same on his Instagram handle. He wrote, "Shooting khatam, Promotion ki planning shuru! Mass-ter filmmaker ke Mass-ter plans!!! Buahahahaha! 🤡🎪 @itsrohitshetty @rohitshettypicturez @fukravarun #CirkusThisChristmas".
