Actress Dushara Vijayan became one of the most favorite actresses in the Tamil film industry for the audience after she debuted in the film 'Sarpatta Parambarai'. The actress is awaiting the release of her film 'Raayan'. Directed by Dhanush, the film is a gangster action drama, and it is all set for its release in theaters on July 26. The film's audio launch happened in a grand manner in Chennai on July 6, and speaking at the event, the actress said that the film is a personal win for her.

Speaking to the media later in a promotional event for the film, the actress said that she is a huge fan of Dhanush and has always wanted to work with him, and with 'Raayan' being his directorial, the actress said that it is definitely a turning point in her career. Sharing her experience while shooting for 'Raayan', Dushara mentioned that Dhanush is very precise as a director on what he wants his characters and roles to appear on screen as. The New Indian Express reported that the actress even said that Dhanush can make a pile of sand act and added that she was the actor who effortlessly switched between his roles as the actor and director for the film.
Amidst her chitchat, she spilled the bomb that she wants to stop acting by the age of 35. Dushara Vijayan, discussing her future plans, said that she thinks she will stop acting at the age of 35 as she wants to entirely focus on traveling.
Dushara also spoke about her role as 'Mariamma' in the film 'Sarpatta Parambarai' and mentioned that she is not sure if her role will continue in the sequel. She also added that she will play her role much more intensely this time. On the work front, apart from 'Raayan', she also has 'Vettaiyan' that has Rajinikanth playing the lead. The multistarrer has Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, and Manju Warrier. The film is all set for its release in theaters on October 10. The actress is also shooting alongside Vikram for 'Veera Dheera Sooran', which is helmed by SU Arun Kumar.
